Shane walked out of the airport terminal, feeling rather worked after the jet lag. Sure he enjoyed flight, but mainly when he was doing it. Still though, he couldn't walk on water...that was another friend's job.
"Well, let's see if there's any skate parks." he said quietly, walking through the city as the wind blew through his short hair, and the sun shone on parts of his tanned face...but a smile broke on his face when he saw an area where skaters were...and he went over to join them, putting on his helmet and doing some impressive tricks..

Kaoru Shiba had, once again, escaped from her retainers, though this time she had help from Kasumi and Ayane in doing so, and was wearing her red plaid shirt and jeans with her hair down again (this seems to be her favorite "sneaking away from the retainers" outfit). She was currently passing through the skate park to get where she wanted to go, but was getting distracted by all that was going on there.

Shane meanwhile had drawn a little bit of a crowd as he pulled off the ultimate trick, the Downside 540, and had just finished landing it when someone he didn't see had wandered too close, and the forward momentum of his skateboard was gonna take him on a collision course right into them...

Kaoru turned around and saw the man on the skateboard coming toward her. Instinctively (after quickly having made sure no one was looking), she took out her Shodophone and wrote the Kanji for "stop" in the air, causing Shane's skateboard to stop just before he hit her.

Shane's forward momentum was stopped and he looked up...or rather down a little, at the person who stopped him, "Woah, sorry about that." he said. When she looked at him curiously, he repeated that in casual Japanese.

"Hey I am careful, but you haven't truly lived until you've been on the edge...sure you fall down but you'll get back up again." He said, pushing the skateboard up into his hands for a moment before sliding it under his arm and looking at her for a moment, definitely digging the ... unique clothing style, "Well, sorry to bother you, I suppose I'll be on my way." he said

Shane shrugged a bit, "Strange girl." he remarked to himself in English before walking another way, that took him towards the outskirts of the city. His sensei had told him that those red things were cracks, or portals to another dimension perhaps. So he decided to pause by a vending machine...and his watchful eye caught a pair of tinkerbells hidden under it, with the kanji of "Spy." marked on them. "Hmmm...something's pretty fishy here." he thought before moving on.

Kaoru arrived at the vending machines not too long after Shane did, catching the tinkerbells. She quickly went off to the side, hoping that they were there for tracking Gedoushu and not looking for her. She got a drink and sat by the machine, wanting to finish it before moving on.

He turned to see the girl from before, and shook his head before walking on...and then stopping, picking up some energy in the nearby forest. After making sure no one saw, he streaked into the forest and landed on a firm tree branch, looking down to see more of the same creeps that had come from the cracks back in America, and he decided to watch them, keeping hold of his skateboard as he did.

Kaoru continued to drink, keeping an eye on the forest. If there was a Gedoushu, she would have to dispatch it quickly.

"Man, he's ugly." Shane thought.

Back near the vending machines, Kaoru's Shodophone went off, and she quickly shut it up. Now that an Ayakashi was here, she had no choice but to get rid of it. She changed it to Brush Mode and wrote the kanji for Fire in the air. "Ippitsu Sojo!" she shouted, transforming into ShinkenRed.
