Kaoru then swung the Daizantou at it, creating an arc of fire that hit the creature.

The Ayakashi was sent staggering back before tossing a rather large orb of energy at them, which split in two, one heading for Kaoru and one hitting Shane, who made a brief cry in pain before an empty uniform dropped to the ground...

Kaoru blocked the attack with the Rekka Daizantou, and sent it flying into a nearby tree. She then looked around for Shane, who had vanished.

"Ninja Air Attack!" Shane reappeared, walking on air and kicking the Ayakashi back several times into another tree. Then he backflipped, landing on his feet.
The Ayakashi fired at both of them again, Shane roundhouse kicking another blast away from him.

Kaoru continued to use the Daizantou as a shield. She then took out the Kyoryu disk as she changed the Daizantou back into Shinkenmaru.

"Oh you're pretty annoying....Battlizer Mode, Engage!" The Hurricane Morpher appeared and he activated the power, the Ground Mode armor appearing over him as he struck a pose.

Kaoru attached the Kyoryu disk and spun it. Her Shinkenmaru turned into Kyoryumaru and donned a red overcoat. "Hyper ShinkenRed! Going Forth!"

"Not bad." He remarked before streaking forward at high speed and slamming his fist into the Ayakashi, the impact sending him flying towards ShinkenRed.

Kaoru then raised her sword and slashed through the Ayakashi, doing a pose after she did so.

He turned to see the pose as the Ayakashi's first life exploded, smirking just a little.

Kaoru sheathed Kyoryumaru. She then looked at the battilized form. Eh? When did his chest look like that? she asked herself, referring to Shane's sudden six-pack.

Shane dusted his hands before turning to ShinkenRed. "Nice fight, I think we might see more of each other in the future." he said, his voice disguised.

"Hey, you're probably right." The Ranger replied, "Just remember that there is a balance in everything." he said, loosely quoting his Sensei. Then he formed a handsign over his armored gauntlet, then pointed two fingers down, throwing down a smoke bomb and disappearing.
