"Don't call us Children." Alan sneers. "We're the only ones taking responsibility for this City's well being while people like you see it as nothing but a battleground, it's population be damned.
As Alan says this though Azrael flies into the building an opens a portal. "Both of you, this mission has failed. Retreat before you compromise us any further."

The Earl scoffed, "Che...don't blame me Azrael, blame Mr Morale" pointing to Ezekiel, "over here...however he did give the 'cure' to Harriet sir."

"Enough! We will discuss the failures of all four of you soon enough. Get in the portal." Azrael orders as he calls his scythe.
The Rangers turn their attention away from the Earl and Ezekiel and charge towards Azrael who brushes them aside with a single slash each. He then looks up towards Rei, "Stand aside Nexus and allow this honourable retreat."

"Che...fine" the Earl said as he went to the portal but not before turning to Rei, "you cannot hope to defeat the darkness...for we are everywhere in men's heart" then he went into the portal and disappeared.

Nexus' voice would boom a little louder in the minds of all present. "Then take your darkness and leave. But you are mistaken on one premise, Earl...Where there is darkness...the Light is there as well."
Then, her left gauntlet was thrust downward...along with her right gauntlet which crossed it. Then she brought them up and dragged them apart, blue energy crackling between the gauntlets. Then she brought both arms up in the air before settling them into a L-shape, firing the Over Ray Storm at the portal.
Any enemy who did not go through the portal at that particular moment, would be hit by her finishing attack, otherwise it would harmlessly dissipate.

Ezekiel managed to dive through the portal just in time, at which point he turned to Azrael and tried his best to look scary.
"They're teenagers!" He shouted "You never said that we'd be fighting kids!"
He immediately regretted saying those words and broke eye contact with the angel.

The Rangers demorph as the portal closes behind Ezekiel. "You can't keep running forever. We'll take you down soon enough."

Nexus' figure fell to one knee before fading away. Nearby, if one of the Rangers was observant, they would see a woman kneeling near a tree for a moment before standing up.

"I'm Alan, this is Martain, Larry, Harriet and Penny." Alan says pointing to each of the Rangers in turn. Harriet still looks quite flushed but she's no longer bleeding from the eyes so she'll probably recover completely soon.
"I think you managed to figure out that we're the Fallen Rangers."
