"None of your business" the Earl spat at Ezekiel, "Rei...you leave me no choice in this matter" he then charged at her and slashed her a couple of times at the chest.

Nexus took the twin slashes after pushing the Rangers out of the way, and her left gauntlet glowed blue as she brought it up and blocked the third sword strike, her white eyes staring at War as she brought her other gauntlet over her heart and shifted it back to its place.
This caused her to change forms to Junis Blue, using her new-found agility to kick War in the side of the leg, and back up a few paces. Then she looked at him again before placing her left hand over her right gauntlet, and running it up said gauntlet with a battle cry. This drew out the Storm Sword, a golden blade of light energy which stuck out from her arm, it was not a weapon in the normal sense.

"If you do not wish to fight me, then take your pathetic friend, and leave." The loud retort was heard in the minds of those present. "You were just using the advice I gave when you sought me out as a way to allay the grievances of your own conscience." she added.
Then, Nexus raised her blade up and touched it dramatically against the ground of the Meta Field, and it responded to her directive, a current of holy lightning following the most direct course to War...

"I'm sorry Rei...but this...this is so that I may know true strength" the Earl retorted back, "so this is so the future can be changed for the better!" He then leaped up and slashed at Rei.

Ezekiel instinctively ducks, but stumbles and falls on his back, just about clinging onto his gun.
"Ow ... ow that hurt ..." He grumbled getting to his feet. There had to be some advantage he had over them. But what? He coughed and aimed his gun again.

"True strength that is misused, maybe." Nexus' voice could be heard in his mind as she blocked his slash with her blade, and clenching her left fist, she drove it into his midsection, hard.

The blow blew the Earl back a fair bit, "Misused?" he asked then laughed, "what would you know about true strength Rei? Have you ever lost anyone to a man claiming to be from the future? Have you known the grief of losing the one person that you cherish more than your life? If not then don't talk to me about true strength...because I will show you true strength!" he then sent a shockwave from his sword right towards Rei.

Her left gauntlet was held over her heart as the Storm Arrow appears on it, and after she's hit by the shockwave, she uses the Sword to draw the bow of light back, and fire a blast from it at War.

"Not this time." Martain says as he blasts more hellfire towards the Earl before he can make it the rest of the way to Rei.
"Why are we always the last to know about things like this? An angel who isn't trying to kill us is a nice improvement." Alan complains as he follows up Martain's burst with one of his own.

Nexus nodded to them before changing forms back to Junis Red, needing power more than speed at the moment.
As the Rangers continued their attacks, Nexus turned her left hand into a palm, holding it beside her, and then held her right hand above it, vibrant blue energy crackling like lightning between the two before she brought both arms up in an L shape, unleashing a narrow and fast golden beam of light towards War's shoulder.
(Once the result of that attack happens) The Meta Field then glowed before reverting to the normal dimension, Nexus was not intending to kill War just yet...

Ezekiel manages to climb out of the stinging fire and collect himself. He's definitely out of his league. He looks up, points his gun at something and fires it in the vague direction of Nexus.

Ezekiel stumbles back into the water and splashes around for a bit before getting up and growling.
"Fine then!" He shouts, pointing the gun at the yellow ranger "Let's play!"
Sick and tired of being incompetent he runs forward and jumps at the yellow ranger trying to spear her in the eye with his gun.
