Shane looked at her for a moment before looking away. He'd have to read up on things without being pestered by the others of the house....he was truthfully interested in the culture, and the old ways.

"I can tell." Shane said, before looking at her. "I'll start a little campfire nearby...and set us up a leafbed, so you can use me as a comfortable surface....get some peaceful rest away from the house, if you'd like."

Shane stood up, carrying Kaoru in his arms as he walked to a nearby clearing, and bent down, holding her as he used one hand to expand a little place for them that was about his height, moving around a little as he did so.

Kasumi was out looking for her lady, wondering where she disappeared off to.

Once Shane had made the little raised place of leaves, he set Kaoru down on her feet next to the place, and then climbed in himself, laying down on his back. He opened up one side of the ninja uniform's coat, and patted his chest lightly.

"Kaoru-chan!!" Kasumi called out.

Shane wrapped an arm around her waist, and put a hand on her back, before closing his eyes.

Soon, the two drifted to sleep.
Eventually, Kasumi found the two, and she put her hand over her mouth. "Eeeeeee...." she said quietly.

Shane continued to sleep peacefully, Kaoru nestled protectively in his arms.

Kasumi took a picture and ran back into the house. "OMGOMGOMG! EM-CHAN!!!" she shouted.
