Kaoru was outside of the Shiba House, walking in the large forest, sighing. She was still feeling guilty for all she did when she was under Akumaro's influence, and wanted to think about it some more, sitting on a tree stump.

Shane was in meditation within earshot of her...but rose to his feet, his back to her in civilian clothes...then he turned, throwing off the disguise and assuming his ninja uniform.

"You." Shane said simply. "Was what we had before some kind of joke to you? Is the kind of affection you show for a friend called leaving them in the dirt battered and broken? I don't know...but I will not be caught off guard again." he said, clenching his fist as the Wind Morpher appeared on his arm.

Kaoru cringed at that. It was because of what she did to him while influenced by Akumaro... "Shane, you have it all wrong..." she said.

Now as the Red Wind Ranger, he unsheathed his Ninja Sword, and stalked forward towards her.

Holding his sword in a backhand stance, he summoned the upgrade for his morpher, and called out. "Battlizer Mode, Engage." He became the Tri-Battlized Ranger's initial mode, stalking closer to her, sword in hand.

He walked right up to her, and looked down at his blade. "Hmm...if you won't use your blade, it wouldn't be sporting for me to use mine." he said, tossing the Ninja sword aside. and clenching his golden gauntlet's right fist....
