Ahim was feeling more alone as of late, even with Pieter, even with the others. Joe had a special place in her heart that none of them could fill.
She walked out to the crow's nest and pulled out her Mobirate, calling for Harlock, whom she knew she could look to for support now. He had fought Joe; he could find him.

Ahim waited on the crow's nest, looking out at the night. She was tired of waiting...on what? Nothing. She needed to do something...she missed him so much...
This was her only chance now. Her best chance. But she remembered that he was with Basco, and Basco wanted her for the sake of putting down rebellions that were rising with her still being alive. But that was a chance she would have to take for the man she loved.
