Shane walks in and kneels down beside the bed, tucking in Kaoru gently before sitting up straight to look around.

Shane shrugged. "I was offered a place to stay. Her house after all." he said, noting the cold stare and remembering something his Sensei had taught him. "But I'll leave her to rest...and will be around." he said, gracefully excusing himself before walking out of the room and to the back courtyard, where he began to train a bit.
