Kaoru raised her sword and began to attack, but it started to wear her out, especially as she was unmorphed.

The Ranger saw this, "Kaoru!" he called out, before drawing his blade. "Ninja Sword Gold...Power Up!" After taking the pose and making the blade glow, he held it in a backhand position as he formed the handsign. "Ninja Shadow Battle!" The screen went up again as all that could be seen were the silhouettes of many grinders, and a single red blur slicing through several at a time.
Then the screen disappeared as the Ranger landed, sheathing his sword briefly as all the Grinders exploded, and then he drew it back out, ready to combat the remaining ones.

Shane nodded to her under his helmet before drawing a second weapon, "Hawk Blaster!" Now dual-wielding, he spoke. "Ninja Air Attack!" He began to walk on air, blasting several Grinders before jumping down and slashing the rest, amounting to about half of the remaining Grinders. He left a few for Kaoru to get, but kept an eye on her.

Kaoru took out a Hiden Disk and spun it around, summoning the Rekka Daizantou. With one wide slash, she took out the remaining grinders. She then put the sword into the ground and used it to support herself.

The Ranger sheathed his sword. "Sensei, I know you said ninja powers were for the betterment of humanity, but I've gotta get her out of here." he said to himself before producing the duffel bag and skateboard, securing them tightly to his back with the grappling hook. Then he picked Kaoru up quickly. "Close your eyes!" he instructed, before ninja-streaking away from the area and back to the Shiba mansion quickly.

Kaoru closed her eyes, mostly from exhaustion as Shane carried her back to the mansion.

Shane came out of the streak and de-morphed, holding Kaoru as he hurried into the mansion.

Ayane was waiting near the entrance. She didn't like letting Kaoru go out alone, but they were friends now; she had to let her go out, even alone, without a retainer. She was skilled enough on her own, though, at least.

Kaoru had passed out at this point, her head hanging as Shane carried her.

He caught sight of the new person, at least to him, "Hey, can you show me to her room?" he asked, inclining his head down to Kaoru's form.

"Kaoru-sama!" she looked up to Shane, "Who are you and what did you do to her?" she demanded.

Shane mentally face-palmed. "Great, the news didn't get around in time." He thought. "First off, I didn't hurt her. I came to request her aid against an alliance of the enemies you fight, and the enemies I fight. She insisted on coming with me, and I saved her two times from being hurt, and brought her back here."

"Come with me," Ayane said, turning and leading Shane through towards Kaoru's room, "I guess I'll have to believe you, until I can speak to Kaoru-sama."
