Any of you familiar with Once Upon a Time? When the first commercials came out, I was under the impression it would be something like, main character comes to this picturesque older town (the key to the bed and breakfast or whatever was an old fashioned key, and that was pretty blatantly shown in the previews), and then the previews showed the fairy tale stuff. Like sword fighting and stuff. So, my first guess (before I knew about the actual premise)? It's present day, fairly modern but slightly older town, and strange magical stuff is abound. Like, I don't know, people carrying swords and it not being weird, hell, maybe even duels in the streets or something. Not strange at all, except to the newcomer.

Oh, and magic. Somewhere, some magical stuff going on, but rather minor in comparison to the aged stuff (aforementioned dueling and stuff). But still, it's a normal town and stuff.

Yeah, what I'm getting at is kind of hard, considering this was months ago that these commercials were on, and I can't find the right one on Youtube to refresh myself with (I'm now able to tell what it's about too, so even finding it wouldn't completely help). But based on that, do you guys see what I'm trying to get at? And would anyone be interested in doing such a thing as an RPG?

I remember these pretty clearly. It was the old town and the old stuff, and certain people in the town were reincarnations of people from the old stuff, like the prince and the evil stepmother/queen/sorceress/whatever. this would be a pretty interesting concept to toy with.
EDIT: I just read the wikipedia page, and according to it, the evil whatever curses the fairy tale people to be trapped in time, not remembering who they used to be, and the daughter of the main characters is going to save them all.

I don't think I'd play with reincarnation or anything, but admittedly, I don't know what the magic would be about or anything, so it's a possibility of reincarnation in general, and not reincarnated fairy tale characters.

EDIT: I do know the premise, but I'm not the biggest fan.
