Kai sat in his room, napping. Kenji was in his room, reading. Mikel was in his office, also reading. That's what everyone was doing when the alarm went off.
"Kai! Go time!" Kenji yelled, dashing out of his room to the Briefing Room, followed by Kai. They met the Captain there.
"We have a massive water-spout that whipped up out of nowhere, and it's headed for an oil rig. Go!" Mikel yelled. The two saluted and ran to the Vehicle Dock, where they both transformed and boarded their vehicles, driving at full speed.
Kenji got to the rig first, and began evacuating people as best he could. The Dive Plane wasn't able to hold enough people, neither was the Patroller, to evacuate everyone.

Being told that the Aqua team was undermanned, Ren and Misaki were being deployed to assist, while leaving Aoi and Nago behind in order to be there in case something else happened.
Ren lifted his Commander, "This is Nakamura, R1. We'd like permission to borrow some of your Rescue Vehicles, so we can assist."

"Thank God. Permission granted, and feel free to bring a few of your own." Mikel replied.

Kai had a small fanboy squee, after hearing that R1 was on his way. R1! It was like a dream come true.
"KAI! Focus!" Kenji yelled over the comm.
"Sorry." Kai said as he pulled up next to the bottom of the rig and began loading people into the Dive Patroller.

The water spout edged inexorably closer.

"Diver is all we have to supply for this," Ren told them, "Misaki, keep using it."
"Roger," she answered.
Ren headed towards the Aqua base in his Core Striker.

"Great. Diver, help with the evacuation please." Mikel said.

"Alright, I think that's everyone. Kai, I'm heading in to check. You get the people on Patroller to safety." Kenji said.
"Roger." Kai said, turning Patroller around and gunning it back to shore.

Ren arrived at the Phoenix, hurrying out, "I'll take the Copter," he said into his Commander.

Kenji escorted a few people out into the open and waved down Rescue Diver for extraction.

Ren got into the Copter and set out, heading straight for the disaster.

Misaki opened the Diver, "Load them in!" she called, "I'll evacuate them and be back!"

"Roger! Okay, everyone into the Rescue Vehicle." Kenji said, leading people in. Once they were all in, he said, "I'm gonna search for more!"

Kenji entered, and began his search. They had forgotten to track the water spout, and it was now within a minute of the rig, close enough to begin damaging the supports.

Ren was flying over, "Aqua, this is R1. The spout, where is it?" he questioned.

Mikel checked the map, and said, "45 seconds to the northwest of the rig. Kenji! Get out of there!"
"No! There's still people in here!" Kenji yelled, then the northwest support to the rig fully collapsed, sending the rig into a jaunty angle, about to collapse.
Kai pulled the Patroller up and leapt out, using the boot jets to get into the bottom entry area. He started sprinting up the stairs into the main complex, dodging various obstacles.

Ren floated outside of the rig, right next to the leg. He stood by the door, using his Break Rope and lashing it around the leg. The Copter started to pull back, trying to do some fixing.

The support groaned in protest, then began slowly moving in the right direction.

When the structure shifted, Kenji fell and slid into a wall, but he got up and kept going.
"Wish I had a good 'ol fashioned Rescue Breaker right around now." Kenji muttered as he clawed his way to the door, where he heard people calling for help.

The spout was getting dangerously close, and if someone were to look really, really, really hard, one would just BARELY be able to pick out a vaguely humanoid form in the center of the spout.
