She ran towards the attack and leapt, trying to leap it for a kick at Zephyr.

Zephyr wound back and threw an energy blast like a baseball, aiming for Rise's chest.

The blast connected, sending Saigo onto his ass and driving him into the ground a little bit. He picked himself up grabbed the Resonator, holding it like a guitar and channeling energy through it so it fired small blasts like a machine gun, and aimed it in Rise's general direction.

She tried to dodge, but took a series of hits, rolling and trying to get behind a tree for cover, as well as that would work.

Saigo fired a large blast of energy at the tree, attempting to shatter it and strike the Arc user behind it.

The strike did not block the attack, but it did redirect it, causing Saigo to unleash the Neikos Flash into the ground directly in front of Katsu, sending up a huge plume of dirt and grass.

Rise rolled through, her vision damaged by going through that. She looked around, slashing with her staff to keep herself safe, if he tried to attack.

Saigo silently swore like a sailor at failing to destroy the Arc, but noticed she appeared to be blind, based on the way she was swinging. He went and grabbed the Resonator, and leaned on it, waiting until Rise could see again.

In about fifteen seconds she was able to clear her vision and see him.
