Alessa hugged her, though not too tightly, since she remembered previous injuries. "I...I know...I try not to think about it....I try to be selfless...listening to the concerns of others...trying to be the heart of the team....yet...who will listen to me? Who can heal this wound in my heart?" she whispered softly, tears coming down her face now.

"Perhaps so...thank you." Alessa said with a nod, through her tears. That would comfort her for a while, but it would take something more to heal it completely.

Alessa nodded, stepping out. She had a lot to meditate on and think about....but being able to talk with Riley had helped her.

The talk had been helpful, but it changed little.
She was a bastard, presumably, and that would make things hard here on the Fury. She had to learn more. No matter how hard it was.
