"You now know your enemy," he told Manabu, "He may have the power of a god on his side, as do you five."
--
Riley entered the ship and collapsed to her knees, trying to keep going, but not doing very well. Crow's Eye had chosen to leave, perhaps still wary of superstition and his potential inability to control his libido. But she wasn't sure if he would stay gone.
What he had said had left her hurt, deep down. She didn't know what to do with that knowledge, especially if it were true, with how Harren took bastards.

"His eyes," the man answered, "He may have more of his former god than just a name."

"The eyes.....the ability to discern or predict..." Alessa spoke, in a low tone.

"You manifest the powers of your gods into suits. They have allowed you to use their powers. The Crow God may have chosen Euron to bear power as well; his eyes. It may be no different than what you five are," he answered.

Alessa nodded. "Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us." she said, taking it all to heart.

"That is certainly helpful. Now we know the nature of his power, we can find a way to deal with it." Darius said.

The man nodded, "I am happy to have done a service to this team."
--
Riley hadn't gotten far before she collapsed again, crying along with the pain.
Harren was a religious planet, due to the gods. Bastards were highly looked down upon, and if it were true that she was one, then what would she do? But how had he known, if it were true? Could he tell, with those eyes of his, or something?

Alessa bowed. "Then I will take my leave, revered one." she said respectfully, and walked out, heading a certain way.

The man left, to go back to what he had been doing.
--
Riley was just lying there, not even bothering to try to pick herself up, just crying and pained, thinking about what was likely to end up happening.

Darius and Karina were walking back to their respective jobs when they saw Riley lying on the floor, apparently in pain. "Riley!" Karina yelled, running and sliding on her knees next to Riley and helping her into a sitting position. "Are you okay?" Darius contacted a medical crew on his Caller.

"I'm not following you." Alessa said, brushing past him while just heading the same way to a different place...having a feeling in her gut about something.

"My...my pain isn't too much," she said absently, shirt clearly torn open.

Karina raised an eyebrow, and said, "You sure? Your shirt looks a little worse for wear, and I doubt that the pain isn't too bad if it's enough to leave you writhing on the floor."

"It's...," she couldn't say anything about it.

Alessa heard the commotion a little after, and came to the scene. "Riley?" she called out, walking over...seeing the shirt tear and having an idea of what it meant, kneeling beside her.
