"Keep it busy? I can do that." Dillon nods and charges to rock monster with his nitrosword aiming for locations that would be painful to a human being but not particularly damaging. It's unlikely that the basic weapon would break through the armour but it's best to let the expert do that.

"ATTACK VENT."
The card was slotted as BlackWing flew out of a mirror and smashed into M4TT with such impact that it leveled him to the ground. "Do it Damien! I'll follow up..." Wing Knight called out as she produced another card, the final card.

"Yeesh, what is with this guy?" Jess' voice filled the air. "You'd think he'd realize that he's about to die and be a bit more concerned about that."
Regardless, it looked like the overall fight was about to end. While she was farther from the fight than anyone else; Jess was pretty sure she was outside of that thing's attack range. The problem was that you could never be sure with Kaijin. That thing might be able to cause rock spires to break out under her feet or something for all she knew.
She resisted the urge to throw another comment into the mix. Distracting the meat shields was never a good idea.

Kyle sighed and dropped his arms. He hated being unable to fight against monsters, unlike the rest of his friends and allies who could do it in about four seconds.

Dillon backed away from the monster, the Riders were about to make it explode so it's best not to stand too close. He readied his invulnerability shield for in imminent explosion.

Kyle didn't have an impenetrable shield, instead he just ducked into a doorway.

Kase had run back a few steps before running forward again, ascending into the air between the two buildings as BlackWing attached to her back. Angling her Wing Lancer downward, she spiralled into a drill, coming down with a battle yell as she executed the Rider Kick straight through the wound, hitting her target.

"Oh no you don't..." Kase as Wing Knight said, reaching down and grabbing M4TT by the legs, and then using her flexibility to catapult him into the wall behind her, landing on her hands and following the cartwheel through to stand on her feet again.

Honestly, if it hadn't been for the fact that at least half of their rescuers were cops who would have an interesting in helping this girl get home, Jess probably would have taken off long before now. This entire thing was starting to look more and more like a... well... large scale operation heading for disaster. But her conscience wouldn't let her flee. Not like this.
"How ya doin', kiddo?" She asked the child in her arms. She got a brief whimper and a nod in reply. Well... that was better than nothing.
She stayed in the background, waiting on everything else to calm down before she made a move. Safety was a priority over anything else right now.

Wing Knight turned and spread her arms to the side as twin rings ripped the armor off of her. "There we go." Kase said, turning her attention to the downed M4TT and putting one of her leather boots on his chest. "This one didn't get away." she said simply.

The armoured van rounded the corner and Kyle gave them a small wave.
"Ladies and gentlemen ... G1!" Kyle said, less grandly "As usual, much too late!"

Right. She didn't even know what 'this' was. As far as Jess was concerned, everything had come undone when a bunch of armored goons had decided to use a little girl for target practice. She turned away from all the hubbub and chaos so that the girl wouldn't have to look at the monster... she knew far too well how traumatizing that could be.
"So, uh..." Jess spoke to nobody and yet everybody. "... what are we going to do about the kid? She isn't mine and I've never seen her before, so I hope that I'm not going to get stuck with that mystery all by my lonesome."
