Onto episode 4 of Gokai.

Hating GokaiOh, though. As I mentioned before it's bad CGI and it's tearful to watch it after Tomica Hero. And Galleon is either bad CGI... Or bad minatures.

And the revival-upgrade thing is getting kinda boring already =/

Kaisu, I've been watching Tomica concurrently since I'm making DVDs of Force. It's a pain doing it that way. Tomica had either come back, or Toei should get smart and hire the CGI guys.

The problem is that it makes more sense to have a man in a rubber monster suit move to a different studio than just ditch the suit and make a CGI model. Again they can't mix CGI and live action every episode because it would be a real pain =/

Impractical, but it would look impressive.

Really impractical, unless they used Motion Capture but that's really expensive. It also wouldn't look right, the CGI would seem a bit obvious and awkward.

It's easier to keep a level of consistency in the quality with physical costumes than with CGI which is what Toei is going for since they have to churn out an episode of Super Sentai and Kamen Rider every week in addition to 1-3 movies for each yearly series.

Is it bad that ive just bought a gokai cellular and a bunch of ranger key sets and im actively searching for a mobirates.

Silver's suit is amazing - I'll get to my opinions further later. The actor and character piss me off to no end.

He makes me like Genta.

Genta was previously my least favorite character in any season.

Anyway, how I would have done it is this:

Silver is whored around. First user is the kid from episode 2, recurring user. Second user is Giru/Giles, doing something on his own for once, activating Gold Mode (Sixth heads and he has those heads on his chest...), but is defeated. Returns to his ship, no problems.

Boukenger episode. A Precious restores Barizorg to Sid in a two parter, or something. He becomes Silver's user until the Precious restoring him is destroyed or something, reverts to Barizorg, returns to ship to find Giles overthrown by Damaras, since he wasn't there to protect Giles. Giles becomes the user again, the kid, and so on.

Hell, bounce it between the main five, even.

I think I'm the only one who sees that Gai is supposed to represent the fans of Sentai itself, or at least a parody thereof. (Think Renge from Ouran High School Host Club, who was created to poke fun at the fandom.)
