We have Kamen Rider; here's Sentai. I've seen Dekaranger to completion (amazing), Gekiranger (greatest Toku I've ever seen), Shinkenger (eh...), Goseiger (eh...) and Gokaiger so far (amazing; almost Geki level). Currently watching Timeranger, then Gao, Aba, Magi. I'm watching Timeranger 23 as I type this. Added bonus; Gokaiger fanart from episode 4.

I've watched every Power Rangers adaptation of Super Sentai thus far. I started watching Sentai this past Summer when Disney said they weren't going to make anymore Power Rangers.
So far I've seen Dekaranger (Did SPD change anything plotwise? They both were good but a little variation is nice.), Gekiranger (Why did Disney start to experiment here? Out of everything I've seen this is the one I'd have loved to see again with an Enlgish cast.), Shinkenger (Pretty cool, but not Gekiranger. A shame Saban seems to be following in Disney's footsteps with this Power Rangers series).
I'm currently watching Gokaiger and Power Rangers: Samurai.
Gokaiger is awesome my only complaint is the lack of time spent in their individual mecha. What's the point of even having seperate mecha if you're just going to combine at the start of the fight? Thats just nitpicky.
Power Rangers: Samurai on the other hand has been disapointing. Saban was at it's best when they took the Sentai footage and did their own thing with it. As Wild Force showed us they kind of suck otherwise. That and the fact that they didn't air the first two episodes yet and Bulk and Spike don't seem to doing anything relavent (Here's hoping they turn out to be Shinki Brown and Gold) just leave me feeling bored throughout most of the show.

SPD/Dekaranger; SPD started original (bare with me, I haven't seen it in a while, I"m going off of Rangerboard's comments that I read every so often), but around ten episodes in, faltered. I remember the beginning and how they shifted episodes around (that guy who sucked Jack and Sky into the computer? Around episode 16; Deka episode 3 or so), so they shifted things and made them fit. The guy behind the suits (like Kruger), whose name I don't recall, tried to change things (or maybe not; maybe he only did the suits, I don't remember. I think he did story, too), and I'm not sure what Kalish did; I think he was along with Greg on the story elements, and then, and I'm sure it was Kalish at this point, got lazy and fell into adapting Sentai.
His job was to adapt Sentai, so that's what he did. He's admitted to that (shame about Jungle Fury not being a pure adaptation...). I think it could have been some production stuff, but then it became a pure adaptation (making no sense). We had stable characters who were good together, and then later, when the Sentai was adapted, their problems were adapted. So characters who were good were now arguing, etc. Space police were fighting a war. They admitted to being police, and they were fighting a war; that admittedly made no sense. Then there's Omega Ranger, who due to production problems, had no real actor for money reasons...
That's about it; if you want specific information, let me know, and I'll try to help.
As for Samurai, Tzachor (executive producer; he also did Time Force and Wild Force) always was a Sentai purist/fanboy. He believed that the series should be dubbed rather than adapted. Hell, he asked Saban if Shinkenger could just be dubbed, and he was denied. If you need to blame someone for Samurai, it's him. Apparently TF was the same as Timeranger (I'm watching Timeranger right now, but I don't remember TF being so boring), and Wild Force the same as Gaoranger (not to Gao yet; don't know). Tzachor is to blame for all of it, but if the fans complain enough, that can be fixed, supposedly (Ninja Storm wasn't supposed to end how it did; the fans complaining got it changed from something stupid, which I don't recall, to the actual finale we got, which made sense over the entire season, despite being made up on the spot).

Only sentai I saw all the way through was Dekaranger. Apparently the reason they didn't have a human form for Omega was because they blew the budget on a CGI megazord vs giant stone robot fight. The fact we see his human form at the very end of the series was just really, really biting for me.
I do have to say one thing I liked about SPD was how the rangers got promotions, but it seemed weird how Syd and Z didn't get promoted at the end of the series, I think a female green ranger would've been cool (even if we didn't see them).

Time Force was close to Timeranger? I'd have thought with such an obvious American created Big Bad it'd be a mostly original storyline.

SPD - I don't think that CGI fight blew their budget, I think it was all of the alien suits (like Kruger) that did, all that production value. As for promotions, I don't recall the final scene, but I think the girls had the same colors. Presumably they had a new Green who wasn't there, or something, or Kruger is sexist (very likely, considering he's insane. Discussion for a later time)
Time Force - I'm utterly bored by Timeranger, but apparently it was almost a direct copy. People call it Timeranger USA. The big bad in the Sentai was used as a monster of the day in Time Force. The only real changes that I know of are the attempted mutant/future storylines about racism, which died after 9/11 happened, so Ransik's character (big bad) had to be changed from a terrorist doing the right things in his perspective to a villain.

I thought Ransik was awesome. Mainly because he was played by Vernon Wells but his outfit too. God that outfit was amazing. Thing with Time Force was that after 9/11 they censored out all the buildings being destroyed.

He was a sympathetic terrorist doing things for the mutants with actual goals. 9/11 censorship made him a terrorist with no sympathetic traits.
The censorship took his character away.

I still found him sympathetic, he was like Magneto-lite with a bit squickier power.

So, I promised some Kruger information earlier. Kruger had issues. He was somewhat insane from the loss of his wife and planet. He found Jack and Z on the streets, and decided to make them soldiers. He manipulated their lives since childhood for no other reason than to have soldiers. He manipulated all of his future Rangers in a grand Machiavellian scheme. Subtext is fun; and Kruger was insane. I preferred his Deka counterpart. Also, wrote this up last night from a dream from two nights ago. www.fanfiction.net/s/6808733/1/AhimJoe_Wooded_Encounter_Gokaiger_dream

I'm glad you think so.
I pretty much made up most of the dialogue, only about three lines stuck in my head. I think they were her stating that she was a princess, the rest was made up on the spot in about five minutes, because I needed to get it written out.

I don't know why I am; it was just the easiest place to post that specific piece. I usually use Deviantart, but haven't done much posting recently (despite having about 20 chapters of Kamen Rider Re:Dragon Knight, my DK rewrite, to post yet...).
