"Evidently" Sakura stated, "so you'll have to come with me back to SPD so you can report what you saw...after that you'll probably be need to be put in a witness protection program so the guy can't find you before you can testify about his actions."

Kiba hadn't disengaged his henshin, "If I may suggest something officer, please report this to your Chief and I can give her my statement through your communication device...you do have a radio or something don't you? It will be easier, because my best bet is to keep moving and defeat this guy the next time he attacks me."

Sakura was taken aback at this but protocol was protocol, "With all due respect Mr Kiba I would suggest that you follow me back to the SPD so we can have you in a secured room...you can't guarantee that the next time the guy attacks you'll come out in one piece."

Kiba said, not quite ready to give in, "I do not wish to put anyone in unnecessary danger...I'm a Rider...but unlike some I'd rather take the hits than see others do. I'm willing to co-operate if you'll let me give my statement...and if you really want to protect me, then you could follow me. That gold badge means something good right? I mean no offense or disrespect, but there's just no time...Please at least consider it, Kudo-san." he said, affording her a title of respect.

Sakura sighed, it was a good plan and she could see where Kiba was going with this...but could she really breach protocol? It wasn't like her to do that...but perhaps she could let it slide just this once, she was willing to get injured if it meant that others wouldn't have to so with a resigned sigh she said, "Okay fine...Kiba-san, you lead the way but I'll be following you and once this mess is dealt with you're going straight to SPD HQ and there's no negotiation about that understand?"
