Japan sure had changed since he was in his own timezone. But Otoya didn't mind. The confusion was annoying at first, but he grew to enjoy the new Japan. It would be like an adventure...and he had been seeing very attractive women. However, none of them had been worthy of him yet, so he kept going.

Tamiko was wandering around Tokyo in her typical "pseudo-rider" outfit and carrying a lot of pieces of paper and a some markers. She wasn't sure what she could do, she hadn't seen any riders, any monsters or any fighting!

Well, that was new, when he saw Tamiko. Clothes like that were...odd, but maybe in style? But he hadn't seen them yet...
Whatever. He opened his violin case, hooked the now closed case to his belt via the handle, and walked over, playing. An interesting woman, he could tell by her looks. That should entertain him.

Post by Rad and Andrea on Sept 25, 2011 20:24:45 GMT
((OoC: I find the prospect for hijinks here is too great to pass up. Let me know if you want this to be a two-fer and I'll go back and bow out. )) The shriek of a violin interrupted Rad's train of thought. He lowered his handful of papers and glanced over the table to examine the source of the noise. To his left, he could see Andrea doing the same. A garish man was creating equally loud music in order to effectively make a nuisance of himself. Rad stifled a sigh. This little sidewalk cafe had seemed like such a delightful place to take advantage of some peace and quiet... such was no longer the case. “He knows how to make a nuisance of himself, doesn't he?” Rad stole a glance at Andrea... which quickly turned into a double-take. Was that his imagination or was she actually reacting to the music? It was hard to tell with her... but a moment's worth of study convinced him that he was just employing wishful thinking.

Go ahead and join, it'll be fun.
He stopped playing for a moment, finding it slightly out of tune. Fixing that problem, he began again, finding it much better this time, much more worthy of his skill.

Sonoko was walking when she saw someone she only saw in photos, "G-grandfather?" she exclaimed before running to him, "excuse me but are you Otoya Kurenai?" she asked not believing what she was seeing.
"Otoya?!" Kivat said in surprise.

"Yes, that would be me, young lady...my reputation must precede me," he said, seeing Kivat, "What's that thing?"

"T-this is Kivat..." Sonoko said, "and yes your reputation does precede you" she said with a frown, "as a womaniser...by the way my name's Sonoko Kurenai, my father, Wataru Kurenai, was your son."

He smiled to his granddaughter, "My reputation is as a womanizer, and as a violinist," he played a little, then stopped, "I was wondering when I would run into relatives. Are you the only Kurenai? Or is my son about? Any siblings?"

Sonoko looked away trying to hold back the tears, "Father...passed away a year ago...I'm the only Kurenai left" she said mournfully as Kivat bit her gently to ease the pain, "and now I'm Kiva...the Rider that aims to continue your dream Oji-san."

"Too bad about my son...," he said, then looked back to her, "Kiva?"
He knew of the Fangires, and because of the Fangire he had fallen in love with, his dream was for peace between them, which was no doubt what she spoke of. But what was Kiva?

"You don't know Kiva?" Sonoko asked surprised, "you fought as him" she said.
"He doesn't know that it seems" Kivat said, "doesn't matter it seems he knew of his dream."
"Doesn't matter then Oji-san" Sonoko said.

He had heard bits, "Fought as him? I never fought as anyone or anything in the past," he drew his Ixa Knuckle and span it around his hand, "I do now, though, but I don't have a little bat."
He wasn't Dark Kiva in the past, and unless it needs to be, the woman he was with wasn't Queen.

((Okay))
Sonoko saw the Ixa Knuckle, she knew that her grandfather did temporarily fought as Ixa in the past, though she was still a bit suspicious as to how much she did know of grandfather, "The Ixa Knuckle...interesting" she mummured looking at it.

I'd like that to be right, but Cross said Aozora formed in the 80's, Otoya had to be born at the end of WWII for Sonoko to be her age, so Ixa is new to him, he wasn't Ixa in the past, since he was time warped long before it was made. He just uses a prototype in the present.
"You know of it?" he asked, pocketing it and pulling out his Saga belt, "And this is your grandmother's gift to me."
Why was he talking like this? Talking like an actual grandparent? It made him feel old.
