Description: Bridge is (physically) a fairly normal looking person. He has short brown hair, dark green eyes, about 5'6 ft tall. As he's a policeman in Japan he is often seen in a policeman's uniform so a pale blue shirt, with a navy jacket and trousers on with a hat finishing it off and sometimes a bulletproof vest when it gets nasty. He always wears gloves to "lock" his powers.
Ranger Stuff
Name: Dekared
Team: Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger
Morpher /Sequence: Bridge transforms through the use of his SP License, identifying him as a member of SPD (though several planets including Earth don't recognise it). To transform Bridge presses the button on the top of his morpher and says "Emergency Dekaranger" a colourless version of his suit (minus the helmet) appears around him and then turns red. Bridges helmet then appears on his head completing his transformation into Dekared.
Description of Ranger Form: As the name would suggest Dekared is primarily red. The chest is decorated with a large black and white "1" over the right side. There are little grey and black bands over the gloves and boots separating them from the rest of the suit. The helmet has a silver mouthpiece and a black opaque visor, above the visor is a black "V" shape and above that is the SPD insignia. The "ears" of the helmet are little sirens. Bridge's belt has a pair of holsters for his D-Magnums and a slot at the back to hold his SP License.
Other Modes: SWAT Mode, is almost identical to Bridge's regular ranger form except it has the addition of several braces attached to his legs and arms that add extra power to his kicks and punches and also make sure he doesn't break a limb if he lands from a tall building. There is a small chestplate with a bright red "1" over his chest that his SP License is slotted into. The sides of the helmet open up and reveals a scanner and a communicator. To engage SWAT mode Bridge holds his SP license up and says "SWAT Mode On!"
By holding his SP license up and saying "Battlizer Mode On!" Verges becomes his armour for Battlizer Mode. Battlizer mode is basically just his regular form except he has bulky white armour over his chest, back arms and legs and there are a pair of flashing lights on the chest and wings. Dekared also carries a sword/gun composed of Verges's head.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Whacky, Zany, Crazy, Nutter, Jewish all of those words have been used to descrube Bridge Carson and there is a certain amount of truth in all of them. Bridge is incredibly eccentric doing things that seem outside social norms, it's often hard to take him seriously. However these antics are hiding an extremely calculating mind that analyses any and all situations able to deduce massive amounts of detail from something he saw out of the corner of his eye.
Bridge has a bit of a tendency to babble or ask long winded questions. If "Good Cop, Bad Cop" doesn't break someone then SCU will usually lock Bridge in with them. His talkative looniness tends to get them to confess.
One of Bridges problems is that no one takes him seriously when he's ... well, serious. His personality makes most people ignore him so when he does try being serious or angry most people think he's being plain old crazy-Bridge and pay him little heed.

History: Being born on a transatlantic flight Bridge was technically born the day before he was born because the plain landed the. His parents were emigrating to Japan after deciding to take a whistle-stop tour of the world when his mother got food poisoning and went into labour. Thanks to a midwife and three nurses being onboard the plane the birth went off without a hitch.
Bridge was raised in Japan by American parents (Daniel and Joanna Carson) Bridge is bilingual and able to speak both languages fluently as a result. From an early age he began to develop his psychic abilities often able to detect "surface thoughts" he found out that he could wear gloves to block the overwhelming noise in his head but noticed that he could still see auras with them on.
Bridge's aura power proved useful and he realised that he could determine peoples guilt, thus sparking his desire to be a policeman. Eight years on and he's a member of the Tokyo SCU, and an officer in another police organization as well. SPD are a group of alien law-enforcement operatives, upon seeing various creatures invade Earth they decided to send the foremost police officer on Earth some of their technology. Unfortunately the closest thing they could find was Bridge ...
Verges landed on Earth and quickly sought out Bridge Carson, playing a message informing him of what SPD was and how the technology worked.
Bridge's parents were killed by a yakuza boss when he transformed inside his base of operations. He's started to get concerned about whether people see him transform.
Anything Else: Likes toast, maybe a little too much. He especially likes "buttery" toast. Every time he says the word "Buttery" the fingers on his right hand wiggle.
Sample RP: Bridge took a step backwards and held the pipe level with the roaring beast before him. The slavering thin monstrosity screeched at him, Bridge was unarmed save for a piece of plastic guttering the monster had knocked off of a roof when it crashed.
The alien took a jump forward and Bridge recoiled, his SP License was inside Verges so the only thing he had to protect himself and the two schoolkids who'd been making out under the railbridge. Bridge (non-rail) glanced behind them.
"Well? Run!" He shouted.
The two students nodded but stopped when the alien started to dash at them. Bridge jumped backwards but the creature was too fast it would be on them in half a second!
Or it would have if Verges hadn't jumped in, scared it a little and thrown a morpher out of his chest compartment and into Bridge's hand. Bridge smiled and raised his license, standing between the alien creature and his would be prey.
"Emergency! Dekaranger!"

- Verges (This makes sense if you read Much Ado About Nothing) is a robotic dog that carried Bridge's morpher and several of his weapons. He has an extremely good sense of smell and highly sensitive ears. At present Verges carries Bridges spare handcuffs, an SPD uniform and since the inner compartment is really cold, several cans of
- One of the weapons inside Verges's body is an SP Shooter. A small white gun that fires beams of yellow light at a target. The gun isn't that powerful and can easily be shrugged off.
- The D-Magnums are Bridge's primary weapons in Ranger form. The two guns fire at rapid speeds or can be combined together into a sort of shotgun weapon.
- Bridge drives a Honda VFR800P painted in Police Colours because he doesn't have a motorcycle of his own. It's still owned by the police though.
- In SWAT Mode Bridge wields the D-Revolver a high powered weapon that can fire ropes, cutting beams or regular good-old fashioned lasers.
Zord:
- Bridges primary mecha is a large red and white six wheeled police car with a pair of manipulator arms named the PatStriker
- In SWAT mode Bridge can call on Patwing 1 a large red fighter jet that can perform incredible acrobatic stunts and is capable at travelling at speeds of over Mach 3.

- Has the power to see Aura's, a sort of coloured haze around people. Although he doesn't know what they mean instinctively he's starting to know what various shades mean most of the time. By removing his gloves he can access several other powers from Psychometry to mind reading and the ability to sense others presence, he wears gloves so that these powers don't overwhelm him.
- Always calm in a crisis, really weird, but calm weird.

- Doesn't let Verges follow him so has access to very little of his weaponry.
- Annoying as Hell.
- Has a tendency to babble and lose the thread.
