[For those who don't know, Lullaby for You is one of the two most appropriate songs in the The World Ends With You/Subarashi Kono Sekai/It's a Wonderful World soundtrack. Listen to it on Youtube, it's quite nice. I chose it for the lyrics.]
Carrying a beaten up girl probably wasn't the best thing to be doing in public but Tobias didn't have much choice. What had happened, he wasn't sure. She had just... Disappeared that time ago. He sighed and began to run, cutting through streets to get to the hotel he was staying at.

Jun was walking, wearing his white uniform, carrying a briefcase. He saw this man running, carrying a woman.
Emotion. He didn't understand. He didn't understand why a man would be carrying a woman. In his confusion, he turned around and walked after this man.

Kyle was walking into town now, so at least now he knew what Nakida was up to. That stupid ... she could've been killed o- or something.
Oh. Epiphany.
"This must be how you felt," He murmured to Nakida (even though she wasn't anywhere near him) "All the time ..."

"Come on, Nakida." Tobias murmured. He had slowed down to a walk and stopped beside a corner store. He set her down and shook her shoulder.

Tobias's gazed shot between Nakida and the store. He couldn't leave her but he couldn't just let her... He spun around and his eyes followed each passer-by. If he could find just one person...

Kyle sighed, got down and walked around for a bit before finding a guy in white staring into space. He tapped him on the shoulder.
"Um ... excuse me but have you seen a girl about ... yay tall, black hair um ..."

Guy in white, seems like a stalker... Guy next to him, seems like he's looking for someone... He closed his eyes and dove over the tops of the thin crowd's minds, picking up thoughts.

Sonoko was walking down the street again as usual, she was trying to find someone to talk to after being pressured by the Arms Monsters to search for a companion. She sighed and picked up on a blood scent, she followed it till she found a couple with the woman injured...despite her cold exterior she cared for people deeply and she was touched by the couple's plight, approaching them she asked, "Is everything okay? Do you need an ambulance?"

Kyle closed both his eyes as a sharp pain shot through something that ended in the word "Cortex". He shook his head and then looked up to see two people crowding over Nakida.
Nakida!
Cross ran forward and knelt next to her.
"Are you okay?" He asked "Nakida?"
