Captain Marvelous was on another planet taken by the Zangyack, investigating a rumor that someone has been stealing energy crystals from them. The pirate smirked. This guy must be a good treasure hunter if he can steal energy crystals from those conquerors. I think I can use a guy like him, he thought as he walked toward one of the warehouses. It was still early in the day (for that planet), so chances are the thief wouldn't come around until night. So Marvelous hid in a metal drum (like the kind you commonly see in warehouses) and waited until nightfall.
...Hours passed, and by that time, Marvelous was fast asleep.

The warehouse was dark and deathly quiet...only the sound of "gou!" every now and then. Then, a door slipped opened and the shrouded figure slipped in.. They knew where the energy crystal was, and took their time, sneaking through the warehouse.

Marvelous woke up suddenly, and caused the drum to turn on its side, rolling around until it hit a wall of cardboard boxes. Marvelous dug his way out of them, gasping for air as he broke free. He saw the door open, and smirked. "So, he's shown up..."
(Keep in mind that he's been captain only for a short while, so he's not the badass we all know and love just yet.)

The sudden movement startled them, and they hid for a bit before slowly moving towards the energy crystal again...but little did they know that they were walking into a trap.

Marvelous headed toward where the Energy Crystals were, trying to get to the thief before the Zangyack did.

Just as the thief got to the Energy Crystal, all the lights turned on at once, and a Sugomin with about fifteen Goumin are there. "We've got you this time, thief!"

Marvelous saw the lights turn on. "What? It was a trap!" This couldn't go well. He ran as fast as he could to the location of the crystal, drawing his GokaiSabre and GokaiGun as he did so.

The thief grabs the crystal and attempts to run, kicking at several Goumin and dodging a few hits from their weapons, but still she got hit a bit, and the noises of pain heard were quite clear to Marvelous as to the thief's identity...

Suddenly, gunshots rang out and hit the Gormin. Marvelous was calmly walking toward the battle, shooting any Zangyack soldier in sight. "Are you all right?" he asked Luka.

The girl would look at him with matted hair and a dirty face...and she nodded before turning and running towards the door to the warehouse. The Sugomin sees this and pursues...

Marvelous walks backward, shooting the remaining Gormin before pursuing the Sugormin. He tried to get a clear shot at it, but couldn't do it because he was running.

The Sugomin fires and she dives forward at the last second, doing a spin in mid-air as she lands on her back clutching the energy crystal. Then the Sugomin looms over her and points its arms down at her...about to finish her off.

Marvelous shoots the Sugormin. "Hey. Don't you know it's not nice to harm a lady?" he said, walking toward it.
