Description: Young, but looks a bit older than she is. She stands around five foot six inches, her face often kind and soft, without the show of strong, painful or darker emotions. She usually wears a long gown/robe of white with red trim around the bottom, the neckline (in a V) and the cuffs. It usually drapes to the floor, including the sleeves, as a show of her former high authority/position as a princess. When trying to go out or anything, she often wears pale blue, often as pictured. A button-up shirt, short shorts and high socks up past her knees, with boots up to about halfway between her knees and ankles.


Ranger Stuff
Name: Ranger Series Gold Covert Infantry Bio-Suit Operator

Morpher /Sequence: She takes the Wing Trigger and inserts an Engine Cell, thrusting it forward and hitting the back button.
Description of Ranger Form: Female version; curvier, skirt.
Other Modes: Guardian Mode; with weapon. By inserting the Guardian Engine Cell the Guardian Armor comes down to her, giving her new armor for the sake of compensating for her lack of skill. Flight, blade with projectile attack, much higher defense.
Weapons:

• Rocket Dagger, made for dagger/blade attacks. Six attacks, based on what triggers are flipped:
  1. Burning Dagger: Emitting torrents of flame.
  2. Freezing Dagger: Creating a freezing wind that encases the opponent in ice.
  3. Lightning Dagger: Unleashing an electrical slash.
  4. Shining Dagger: Jumping Dagger, for short flight bursts.
  5. Shooting Dagger: (Don’t know that one, honestly)
  6. Jet Dagger: Allowing full and proper flight.
  
  
• Wing Booster, the combined form of the Rocket Dagger and Wing Trigger, capable of being used as a firearm and focusing the power of the Engine Soul inserted.
  

Zord:

• Falcon Zord, a gold chicken-like helicopter Zord capable of firing from the missile launchers mounted on the sides.
  

Inside Stuff
Personality: Yui is a quiet, kind hearted woman. Shy, unless she’s around people she trusts. She takes to people very quickly, having been brought up in the opposite way, but shaking off what she didn’t like about her past and her growing up. She likes to meet people, just to have people to talk to. She doesn’t like being pampered, or treated as a princess. She also doesn’t like Retsu’s constant supervision, but looks to him as someone she needs in order to protect herself. Without him, she would be lost, as she has no ways to fend for herself, feeling down about that every time she remembers, feeling weak and useless. She’s a romantic at heart, but knows that love will be hard to find, brought up that way. That lesson stuck.

History: Coming from an unknown planet, not many people know about her. She keeps silent about where she came from as well; searching for other survivors of the Zangyack attack that forced her to flee with Retsu, her bodyguard. She had a good upbringing, evidenced by the fact that she is a princess.

She and Retsu were given a ship and fled, eventually ending up on Earth, but found the Zangyack to already be there. But with their ship irreparable, they were forced to stay. Retsu always forced her to remain behind while going out in search of whatever they would need, one day returning with the Ranger Operator Series Gold Morpher…

Hair color/style: Black, kind of long, mostly on the left side where it hangs down the side of his face. Peaked open above the right eye, with less hair on the right side. Layered on the left.
Eyes: Brown
Description: A lean, muscular build, about six feet tall. He often wears, in private or with Yui, a black and gold uniform, simple despite the elegance in the design. It denotes him as a bodyguard. When out, he blends in a bit more with a black button up shirt with an open neckline and sleeves, along with gray pants and boots.

Type Of Hero: Makai Knight
Henshin Device/Sequence: Retsu takes his spear and spins it overhead, creating a halo. His armor forms around him.
Forms:

• Form Name: DAN the Knight of the Midnight Sun
  Appearance: Here and here.
  Transformation: See above. He only has 99.99 seconds in his armor.
  Weapons and Abilities: He uses his spear, which can become doubled ended. He also has his Madou Lighter to burn and create minimal spells.
  Finisher(s): He can light his spear ablaze with his Madou Lighter for flaming attacks to burn through an enemy.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Retsu is a man of few words most of the time, speaking only when necessary, and attempting to speak wisely, but he isn’t very good at it. He has a low tolerance for people who do stupid things, but can handle it when children do stupid things, because that’s completely different. He is a respectful man who demands respect, and shows it back. Little sense of humor, he takes his duty seriously, always trying to remain stoic and carefree, but failing a decent amount of time. He’s always focused on his duty, but Yui’s been trying to change him and make him live his own life, but how can he live down the final request of her father?

He has a love of art, which is often what breaks him free of his attempted stoic demeanor. He trains on a daily basis, always saying that he has to get stronger to help defeat the Zangyack. He has an interest in other parties with power, including the Gokaigers, wondering if they have any relation to his planet. He values speed and grace over anything else in battle, often working on his speed rather than building his strength.

History: Retsu, like Yui, comes from a planet that was destroyed by the Zanyack. While there, he was assigned as a bodyguard to Yui, and always watched over her, often not liking his job for the things she did, making it difficult for him to reprimand her for some of the stupid things that children do, and yet he would enjoy watching it, causing him to be put in an awkward position with her family when he failed to correct things like this when with them. As she grew up, he became more tolerant and more protective, until the Zangyack destroyed the planet. He and Yui had already fled under orders of her father.

Their ship eventually ending up on Earth, but found the Zangyack to already be there. But with their ship irreparable, they were forced to stay. Retsu always forced her to remain behind while going out in search of whatever they would need, one day returning with the Ranger Operator Series Gold Morpher in order to protect her better…

As time went on, Retsu took his duty as seriously as ever, but Yui’s been trying to change his mind and make him live his own life.

“Yui, don’t stray too far!” Retsu called to the young woman as he walked into their damaged ship, looking for anything salvageable. He looked at the Wing Trigger he had, wondering if he could manipulate the technology of this Earth based power to help their ship. But then what? Return home? What home?

All he could do was try to keep Yui safe…

He walked out, finding Yui nearby, sitting on a rock, looking out at the water of a river nearby. He walked towards her, so she looked to him, smiling, “It’s nice here,” she said, “Peacful. It reminds me of home,” her voice didn’t waver for once as she said it.

Retsu smiled. She was getting stronger, at least. That was a good sign. He nodded, thrusting his hands into his pockets, “There’s nothing for us here, let’s go back.”
