Description: He often wears a black longcoat jacket that hangs down to about his knees. He has gold trim running up it, and wears a dark blue shirt underneath with a V-neck, showing a sword necklace. He wears what are essentially dark gray combat pants as well as boots underneath, and two rings on his right hand, one on the ring finger, one on his left ring finger, as a show of his relation with Ahim.

Morpher /Sequence: Using his Mobirate, Joe inserts the GokaiBlack Ranger Key, turning it in the slot. Three Xs and a V fly over him, forming his armor and helmet.
Description of Ranger Form: Like this, without the beard or cuts in the visor. Shoulders aren’t golden like that, and he lacks the gauntlets, using what are more like the other Gokaigers gloves.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Joe is a calm, silent and serious man. He is of few words, but his words matter when he speaks. He is always training, always trying to improve himself in some way or another so as not to fall behind, so he can always try to protect his crewmates.
He has an obsession with swords, and trains long hours and every day, working on swordsmanship and his reflexes, always being able to fight, to block, to cut his foes down with his training. He has a deep attachment to his former teacher, Cid, but he doesn’t know where that man is. He heard that Barizorg was a cyborg version, but doesn’t want to believe it. He takes his friendships seriously, and would do anything for them, even if he doesn’t seem like it.
He can cook, but doesn’t like to. He is very good at it, though. He has developed a deep care for Ahim after her joining, seeing her as someone who needs protection. He takes himself as her knight, and after fleeing after the Basco incident, things changed between them…

History: Joe joined the Zangyack years ago, after they conquered his planet. He rose through the ranks to elite status, but was soon falling behind. He met a man named Cid, who helped him to perfect his sword skills, allowing him to rise higher, but because of the circumstances, things went very bad when he refused to execute children. He was left for dead and hunted by the Zangyack, until he met Captain Marvelous, who saved and helped him. He joined Marvelous’s crew, becoming GokaiBlue.
After assembling the entire crew, the team fled to Earth to search for the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. After many hard fought battles, and unlocking some of the powers of the previous warriors, Marvelous’s old comrade, Basco, appeared and attacked them with his puppets of other Rangers. After this hard fought battle, the team split up, and Joe went his own way.
Sometime along the way, Joe lost his Mobirate and Keys to Foundation X, who passed them on to Demetri Zet. He eventually ran into Ahim again, and took up protecting her. During this time, the two of them grew much closer, to the point where he calls himself her knight, calls her “Princess”, and they each wear a ring on their left ring fingers – as one would an engagement ring…
At an unknown time, they obtained two more Mobirates and the GokaiBlack and GokaiWhite Ranger Keys, as well as most of the Bangai Keys from Basco.
