Inside the club he rose quickly through the ranks to Grand Dragon, the complete and absolute leader of the Hellfire Club. He also became Chief Superintendent of the London Police to the rest of he world. He came up with 'Project Fallen' shortly after his retirement from the police, a plan to eradicate the impure and bring the club into supreme power over England.
As the year 2010 drew to a close, Crowley's prophecy hung over Mantis like a threat. He had spent decades building his throne of power and now it seamed it would all disappear with the Great Beast Crowley's return. Secretly he 'lost' the relics left by Aleister to avoid his resurrection.

Sample RP:
In the basement of his estate Peter Mantis threw back his crimson cap and sat crossed legged before the pentacle drawn in salt on the floor. He closed his eyes and began mumbling in an language so ancient it's name was long forgotten.
"Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Morkas M'ellokan wgah’nagl fhtagn. Mork'anl mgul thr tirakt, limok." he continued to repeat the same words thirteen times before the a ball of black fire appeared above the pentacle. A dark voice emitted from the ball, it sounded like drums and thunder striking at the same time.
"Speak Mantis."
"Tell me Morkas. What news have you of the underworld?" Mantis spoke without opening his eyes, keeping his full concentration.
"Your plans are being carried out as planned." the voice paused "There is however one who has fled the nine circles, to stop you."
Peter's closed eyes furrowed in annoyance: "Who is this foolish beast that would dare defy me?"
His answer was a deep laughter that shook the salt that held the summoned creature to this plane.
"This 'beast' is one of the death reapers, the Black Dog."
Mantis's eyelids flew open revealing dark brown pupils filled with a blazing fury. The salt burst momentarily into flames and broke the spell that held the hell beast's essence in our world.
"The Barghest?!" Mantis's fist clenched, setting off small bolts of lightning, filling the stone room with the odor of ozone.
