Occupation: Drifter
Species: Human
Celebrity Claim: Jensen Ackles
Hair color/style: Short black

Description: Despite being the younger of the Ghost Rider brothers Danny is built a fair bit bigger than his brother's rather lankey build. Of course he's just as fond of biker fashion as his brother as demonstrated by his leather jacket and use of chains both as accesories and in combat (he was the first Ghost Rider to use them, his brother ripped them off from him).
Rider Stuff
Name: Ghost Rider II/Kamen Rider Death
Henshin Device/Sequence: His Ghost Rider powers are innate which he uses by letting the spirit of vengence within him out to consume his body and turn him into the flaming skeleton of a Ghost Rider. To access his death powers he has to employ a small white gun given to him by Azrael which he presses to his forehead and shoots.
Forms:
- Form Name: Ghost Rider
Appearance:
Transformation: Danny allows the Spirit of Vengence within him to consume his body with hellfire turning it into a flaming skeleton.
Weapons and Abilities: Similar to Kuuga the Ghost Rider has the ability to reshape objects into Rider specific weapons, unlike Kuga he doesn't need to change form to do this. All Ghost Rider weapons are infused with hellfire. Danny normally favours chains and knives when doing this. He also can manipulate his hellfire flesh directly into offensive blasts.
Finisher(s): Pennance Stare: Danny grabs his weakened opponent and stares into their eyes infusing their soul with his hellfire. This causes them to feel all the pain and suffering they have ever inflicted upon anyone in their life. - Form Name: Kamen Rider Death
Appearance: Similar to the Ghost Rider form but wearing a long hooded cloak over the biker leather.
Transformation: While in Ghost Rider form Danny takes the gun of Death and fires it against his forehead. It bathes him in darkness that quickly reforms into a long cloak and a scythe.
Weapons and Abilities: As above plus a scythe similar to Azrael's.
Finisher(s): Soul Rip, Danny stabs his scythe into a fallen enemy and absorbs their soul and powers if they had any. The powers are then redirected to Zadikel who uses them to empower his army in Heaven hoping to overpower Gabriel. This has the side effect of destroying transformation devices of it's victims.
Other Equipment:
- Twinkle, Azrael's angelic horse of death that was sent into Hell to rescue Danny. Serves as his ride when in Death form.
- A bike of vaugely Japanese make, infused with Hellfire that serves as his ride in Ghost Rider form
Inside Stuff
Personality: Danny used to be a rather reluctant hero, only fighting when he felt he had to but gradually he became more and more heroic under the guidance of the caretaker and the previous Ghost Rider, his half brother Johnny Blaze. That was until the powers were taken from him. Stripped away in a moment of weakness. Now while most shrinks aren't qualified to treat the mental well being of vessels of heavenly vengence, almost all of them would claim Danny went through major withdrawl from his powers, as if he had become addicted to him. So naturally when he is given them back by Zadikel he fights with a renewed passion and vigor, only this time his mission isn't to kill demons or corrupt people but to kill all Riders.
Strengths:
- Driven: He will fulfill his agreement with Zadikel and Azrael, not even death will stop him.
- Willing to do whatever it takes to win
- Not scared of dying.
Weaknesses:
- Easily cornered if he can be made to think he'll lose his powers again.
- Quite egotistical, even as he display the symptoms of a common drug addict in regards to his rider powers he thinks he's the only one able to control the powers of a Rider and should take away all other rider's powers and return them to heaven. Even the ones that have no ties to heaven.
- Prone to excessive violence
History: Danny came into his Rider powers when him and his sister were attacked by gangsters in a Brooklyn graveyard on Halloween of 1990. While he initially blamed it on a mysterious sigil he found on a bike in a near by junkyard in truth it was the rider in his blood awakening at long last. He went on to have a minorly successful career as a hero for several years meeting up with the mysterious caretaker and his half brother Johnny Blaze.
Things changed in the summer of 1999 when Johnny's old enemies caught up to him and murdered his wife and child. While him and Johnny did manage to avenge the deaths it still left Danny quite shaken. He traveled to London to seek out someone who could exorsize the Rider spirit from him. He didn't find anyone for several years but he ventually came to one claiming to be a cybermage who successfully removed the Rider from him. Things didn't work out as planned though since Danny had become so used to the presence of the Ghost Rider he had in essence become addicted to it's power and went into a dangerous withdrawl. A few months later he was greeted by a crow claiming to be a vessel of Zadikel who would return his powers if he promised to fulfill a job for him. The job was simple, kill all of the other riders in the world and give their powers to Zadikel before the power corrupts the souls of the Riders. Not being in the right frame of mind himself Danny accepted. This eventually brought him to face his brother, and two other Ghost Riders the King and Queen of Skulls. Danny killed the pair of royal skulls but in turn was slain by his own brother.
For most the story would end there but while Danny was suffering in Hell something happened. A strange white horse galopped across the fields of flame towards him brining him news that Zadikel had forgiven his failure and was prepared to give him even more power as the Rider of Death.
Anything Else: It's Darkblade in case you didn't guess.
Sample RP:
Why was he here? He had served Zadikel loyally he was a servant of heaven doing the will of God. He didn't belong in Hell. Of course he did die, he died when there was still one Ghost Rider left. That must be it, Zadikel is punishing him for his failure. Danny Ketch thought to himself as he toiled through the endless pits of flame, flame he had once weilded against the demons that now tortured him so.
He though for a moment he heard a horse whine. Looking up to confirm his delusions he sees that he might not be as crazy as he thought moments ago. A pale white horse was indeed riding towards him now. He looks up at the strange beast which drops a piece of golden paper into his hands. Danny doesn't even read it already guessing what it has to say. He leaps onto the horse's back and rides off away from the pits of the damned. He had been forgiven, and would not fail again.
