Hey guys. Question? Have you ever played a game (i.e computer, pen and paper, etc) that you have good memories from or was really good? I can bet most people have this I'll share mine first. When i was about 7-8 years old my parents bought me a old Disney game pack with me and my siblings liked a lot (can't remember its name but if I'm correct it involved some characters form lion king) which my mother would always dominate the high score to the point that once my siblings and i joined forces to make a high score which we thought our mom couldn't beat but the next day she did to our amazement. Any comment on this or want to share your just post and don't be shy

The first game system I ever got was a Sega Megadrive from a car boot sale. This was in about 2002-2003 when I was six or seven. Me and my sister used to play 2P Mode against each other.
It was so fun!

I used to play monopoly with my family and my mom would kick our butts every game. The rules were you were aloud to cheat as long as you didn't get caught. If you did, you had to undo what your cheat was and pay a $5000 fine.
We played till I turned 17 and beat my mom. We have never played since. ^^

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
SNES, one of my first games when I was, oh, had to be around five. Very fond memories, play it occasionally yet, my dad does as well, since he can beat it in probably one sitting. Did it in one school day once, years ago. We left, came back, he finished from the start.
Other than that, Goldeneye 64. A classic, no matter who you ask.

I just got into tabletop RPG's like D&D, there's a gaming shop where I live that was selling a load of GURPS source-books really cheap. Add in some high-quality Doctor Who miniatures from the comic shop near my school and some base coated Space-Marines from the game shop in the city centre and all I need are some nerdy friends ...

I've wanted to get into it for a while now but I have really bad Maths Skills. (3/70 on my last test, I'm taking a retake in March and having extra lessons until then).
I went into a Games Workshop yesterday, they're really nice there. One of them showed me how to play 40K, he let me win of course but it was still fun =)

war hammer 40k is really fun but also really expensive and time conuseming (if you like to paint the figures in all sorts of pretty colors) and bad math skills go hand in hand with a lot of table top players cause most of the time we follow the rules of the game rather than normal math (which kinda get in the way of math but you get the idea XD)

Not if you buy them second hand . There's a wargaming shop in my town that has a few plastic drawers full of 40K miniatures going for like 50p. I got a Tyrannid, two space marines and a guy on a bike from there.

cool there's no such thing here in malaysia (mostly cause most minis are very expencive already not to mention the warhammer stuff thats like RM200+!) most of the time players order online or buy form catelogs for game guides and source books and ( at times) warhammer stuff.

Yeah, I prefer to buy second hand stuff and from charity shops, so much cheaper. Also this is less of a game more of a gizmo: Make an OOO
