Gibbs looked at Jason and wondered what was taking so long for him to disintegrate and crumble into nothing, "Do you have any thing you want to say or do before you...you go?" he asked.

Gibbs knew that Jason's hour had come, following his gaze he took the paper and saw that it was a picture of two kids smiling with Jason in the middle, obviously his cousins, "I will...I promise you that I'll tell him that...I'll also tell him that you served your country well and that you died fighting for your cousin's freedom in this world. And I'll also promise you this...that we'll pick up from where you left off and fight in your steed."

Jason gave him a grim smile - He had lied to him, but they were those who were the closest to his family - and he groaned as his combustion ended.
Jason Grawli, after all the melodramatic moments, was dead.

Gibbs sighed and stood there in silence as did the other Patriot members...the medic beetle then came into view, "Forget it...he's dead" Gibbs said to the medics.
"What now?" Kono asked.
"We go home..." McGarrett said.

The scientist from before watched as the members of Patriot went away. He sighed - It was bound to happen. He had the compound that could delay his death in a red vial back in the COSMOS headquarters.
He stood there for a few more moments before turning to leave.
