It had been about two days since Ren and Arthur had had an encounter with the Hathaway Foundation. He had since gone out and replaced his wardrobe with clothes that suited himself more in the past, including getting a scarf again.
Once again, he was in a tree, trying to sleep. He actually enjoyed the trees ever since becoming an Orphnoch, and enjoyed sleeping in the trees, now finding it natural.

Arthur however was looking around the small town that he and Ren had arrived in a few days earlier. Nothing much had happened yet, but considering that they'd been attacked by monsters, shapeshifters and shady thugs that was probably for the best.

Ren fell out of his tree. He muttered and cursed and got up, brushing his white shirt off. He had never actually fallen out of one of his trees before.
Something was wrong. He ran off to try to find Arthur.
