Overview: Acid prefers to keep to himself if at all possible. Unfortunately it often isn’t. Acid does actually like people, but he is scarred enough that he doesn’t know who he can trust and who he can’t. He is afraid of scientists to an enormous degree. So much so, that if Acid sees a labcoat he will instantly panic. Similarly, classical music can. He has a warm and caring personality if you can break through the protective shell around his heart. He has a soft spot for pop music.

  Fighting Style: Acid can take a lot of damage due to being armored. He also has fast reflexes, mostly attacking with his claws. He has yellow fire as a natural breath weapon, which he uses if he needs range.

  Abilities: Flight and a breath weapon. He moves at insane speeds in battle. He can also move in and out of reflective surfaces at a whim, feeling no penalty for being in one world longer than the other.

History

Acid has had a very scarring existence. He was created in a lab via a good deal of gene splicing. He technically is the only member of his species. Not as in he is the only remaining member of his race, as in he is the only one that was ever created. Acid Ace is a species name. Acid was the name of the project, but one of the scientists called him Ace for the first time. He was hatched using DNA from Eastern Dragon and Dog Mirror Monsters visibly but several others went into the abilities list. The intention behind Acid Ace’s creation was to be used by the Masked Man as a personal rider akin to Kaiser or Odin in the canon series. When Acid hatched he was treated fairly well for a bit less than 24 hours. The scientist in charge of creation of potential Contracts was actually a caring young man who enjoyed raising Mirror Monsters. However then came time for the more serious modifications. Bio-armor was grafted on to his skin. Time and time again he went under the knife, adding guns and sharpening claws. During each surgery, all of those forty-seven proecedures, the “doctor” preforming them always played to same collection of classical music. Acid heard every single notes, as he was immune to anesthetics.

And then after about two months of constant, waking surgery he was sent off to be trained for combat. His combat training was VERY strict. If you step out of line at all you would be very punished. During training when Acid was about seven months old, Acid had a friend. This friend was a catlike monster called Lyric. During training Lyric was badly injured. Instead of simply leaving her to die, he went back. And for that, he was gravely punished. The trainer threw Acid into a ring and ordered all eight other experimental Mirror Monsters to fight him. Acid won. However, in the process Acid lost both of his wings. Acid went rogue after the fight, slaughtering everyone in the facility and making sure to destroy all saved data. Acid fled to the human world, where he currently resides, fearful of the day when he eventually is found by the Masked Man.

Sample RP: Acid was grateful that he managed to get a good night’s sleep after a couple hours. It wasn’t until about three in the morning before he managed to get to sleep. The rain had kept him up all night. It would have been fine if he wasn’t sleeping in a metal dumpster. Every single raindrop could be heard through the thin metal roof he slept under. Thankfully the trash did make for a decent mattress. Tentatively, Acid reached up and slammed open the lid of the dumpster. He righted himself off of his back, hovering a couple of inches. Acid flew several feet into the air before landing on the blacktop. He stretched and rolled his shoulders. Acid cracked his neck to get a kink out of it as his eyes searched the area.
