The first dozen or so episodes were so slow, not to mention the constant bag switching. That turned me off after about the second instance of it.
That, and the Orphnochs are probably my least favorite KR antagonist forces (I haven't seen much of Hibiki's, the Grongi or the Lords; hell, I even like the older show creatures better). I hate the all-gray look.

One other little thing I noticed in Decade. Narutaki is a shitty villian. All he does is show up say something mysterious and that it's all Decade's fault even when it obviously is not and that Decade will die here before vanishing. He seems more like James Jonah Jameson to Decade's Spider-Man than an actual nemesis.
Now I want to see fan art of Narutaki demanding that Tsukasa bring him pictures, pictures of DECADE!

That would be great.
But as for Narutaki, supposedly there was a plan for him. I don't know if you saw the preview for the epilogue movie attached to the final episode; two Decades, Natsumi with a gun saying she will kill Decade, etc. None of that happens; there was some problem, or something, and that version never happened.
had it, we would have gotten a Narutaki backstory and development and him actually doing something, supposedly. He's in the actual epilogue, just...well, you'll see.
The original rumor was he would "Kaijin Ride" into old villains. I think that may have been the plan that was scrapped along with the movie, but I'm not sure.

I saw the epilouge. Well that was a step in the right direction but still didn't do much to make the series coherent.
Giving Narauki the ability to "Kajin Ride" would also go a long way to explaining how the monster in the Shinkeiger crossover was able to do that.
I'm assuming that Grandpa's Proffesor Shinigami and that Zol guy that Narauki turned into were older Kamen Rider villians. I'd be okay with Narauki being like that but Grandpa felt forced.
I liked Natsumi as Kivaraa even if she had the same problem as Yuuske at remembering that she's a rider and doesn't have to run away from the monsters, she can henshin and kick them until they explode.

I'll give you that; the Gedoushu from Shinkenger just using the Diend Driver shouldn't have been able to summon Kaijin from Rider. That makes arguably some sense, but from a story point of view, it doesn't.
Yeah, Zol and Shinigami were from the original series, just like Shocker as a whole. Apollo Geist was from an old series as well. They were high ranking members of Shocker. In both movies, the grandfather becomes Shinigami, but the epilogue explains that it was a "Doctor Shinigami Gaia Memory" that did it. I have no idea how one was made, or even got used on him. It just implies that it sought him out for whatever reason, I guess.
As for Zol, Narutaki wasn't Zol, he was just playing an act, unfortunately, so still nothing about him.
I don't think Natsumi was that powerful of a Rider, was the problem. She couldn't fight very well, if logic makes sense here, and if she could, that seems to be an asspull, considering being a Rider doesn't automatically make you a good fighter. With the exception of the Joker Gaia Memory, since that's what it does; it makes you a good fighter.
And as for Kivaraa, they handled that poorly. The Kiva henshin forms don't work that way. Natsumi shouldn't have been able to transform in the first place since she's not a Fangire, and has no Fangire DNA or anything. In Kiva, if a bat bites you, you need the DNA (or whatever), or you will die. Humans die if they use the bats to transform.

I assumed since her Grandfather was Shinigami on some level, she wasn't entierly human. Not Fangire granted but not a full human.
I just wish they did more with the idea. There really don't seem to be very many female riders and I honestly liked the Kivaraa costume design.

That would make sense, except he's human, so it doesn't work. There is a theory that since Kivaraa, the bat, wasn't a full grown bat, the host didn't need to be a Fangire.
Femme (Ryuki), Larc (Blade), at least one Hibiki Rider, and Kivaraa are the only female Riders, I believe. There were "whores", where the same Belt was used by various characters, and those would count. At least two women became Ixa, and possibly some women in 555.

Well we never see or hear about her actual parents. She could have been created by her Grandpa when he was in Dr. Shinigami mode. I'm fanwanking now, I really have no idea.

The only thing that makes any sense towards a theory like that (which actually could make sense, but I prefer the idea that Kivaraa/Kivalaa/whatever her name is is too...weak, or something, to do it properly, or there's another drawback, like Natsumi can't access all of the power) is that the grandfather is drinking friends with Sonozaki Ryubee (from Kamen Rider W), who could arguably had helped do something like that, considering his backstory. But age matchup doesn't work for that (you'd see what I mean if you watch W).

Speaking of Kivarla's design, I loved that too.
It was actually the basis of Forever ;3

I'm about 11 episodes into Kabuto; it's better than I thought it would be, I just have to ignore Tendou for the most part, since as I've heard, he's the part that ruins the series with his constant winning.
Anyone know approximately when the Hoppers come in? I can't wait to see those two.

I couldn't find it on Wikipedia, personally.
I finished the first torrent batch, 18, and I'm actually enjoying it more than I would have thought so far. I especially love the idea of the ZECTroopers for some reason.
I also love TheBee; my favorite so far. There's just something cool about his suit and Zector weapon.

The ZECTroopers are really cool, I loved those guns on their arms. I thought that their inclusion made ZECT seem more realistic as an organization (they have footsoldiers).
I loved TheBee too, he was one of my choices for my first character (It went Kenneth as IXA > Kenneth as Psyga> Kenneth as TheBee > Kenneth as Sasword > Suzie as TheBee > Suzie as Drake). I thought he looked the coolest out of all the riders, it would be Sasword but his masked form is too cluttered.
