History
From the moment Drogo was born, he was destined for greatness. He was born as a red comet circled Vaes Dothrak for the first time in 400 years. The Dothraki considered it an omen, as a strong leader would be born that day. For the rest of his childhood, Drogo was put through a rigorous life of hunting, killing, training and fighting. Drogo killed his first man when he was 12. It was actually a woman, who swung an axe at him.
When he reached 21, the Dothraki "coming of age" age, he had his hair braided into dreadlocks, as per custom. He was to cut one off whenever he lost a fight. He kept all of his locks. Drogo built up a reputation as a powerful Dothraki warrior, which allowed him to challenge, and slay, the previous Khal, and take over as Khal.

"The crows will feast on your flesh. Beetles will make sport of your eyes. Your lungs will be fodder for the worms." He dived at Maqo, who lunged at him with his blade.
"You'll have to kill me first!" Maqo screamed as Drogo ducked and weaved around his strikes.
"I already have." Drogo growled as he lunged again, striking Maqo's midriff and sending him flying.
