WARNING THIS THREAD CONTAINS: So, who here likes Doctor Who? Anyway, series 6 started this week with a bunch of slenderman like aliens who you can't remember unless you're looking at them called "The Silence". And they are awesome. Anyway, the Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory Pond/Williams and River Song have gone to America, grabbed a secret agent and they found the proto-TARDIS from The Lodger. Thoughts?

I was going to make this, but decided against it.
Apparently the Silence creatures are the organization from last season that caused the TARDIS to explode. I'm disappointed; I wanted Omega.
Anyway, calling it now. The Rani. That is all.

River Song's the Rani? Like an arced Rani? That makes sense.

That's not what I'm talking about. But I don't want to say much.

One of my friend's has developed several theories as to what Amy's baby could be:
A) The baby is Rory's, boring but probable. B) The baby is the Doctor's, he has been a lot more ... y'know since Moffat started writing. C) She isn't pregnant and the Silence did something to her. D) The baby is Gwen's, this is probably a good time to mention that said friend writes a femslash. E) The baby is Rose's, ditto. F) The baby is River Song's, to which said friend declared "It would be a Scottish, ginger, curly, haired time traveller! My ideal!" G) The baby is River Song, I like this, it sounds implausible but could potentially happen.

I've heard theory G last season, actually, mostly around Amy's Choice. I think the current favorite that I've heard is C, but as for B, remember Time of Angels? He didn't know what to do in a romantic situation, so I doubt that one very much so.

Right my theory on the little girl:
She's the daughter of Amy and Rory Pond, but like she was saying the baby got a little messed up by Time Travel and came out part Doctor. Alternatively, Romana or the Rani is back.
That episode was awesome just for the last line. For those of you who don't watch Doctor Who, President Nixon has agreed to bend the rules a little so that Canton Delaware III can get married and stay in the FBI:
Nixon: This person you want to marry? Are they black? Canton: Yes- Nixon: See, people say a lot about me but, I think I'm more Liberal tha- Canton: - he is.

well it seems like she is both pregnant and not pregnant at the same time according to the tardis scanner. probs in some sort of state of temporal flux.

So, I'm making my protein drink after working out, and it just came to me.
The little girl regenerating, and supposedly being Amy's daughter... Well, we see Amy and Rory in 9/10's TARDIS in what looks like a regeneration scene, right? And we know regeneration can be siphoned off (the Doctor's hand), so is it possible that some of that explosive energy (assuming this is 10's regeneration) enter into Amy during her pregnancy? Sure, doesn't account for the scan at the end of this episode flipping between pregnant or not, but it could account for why she can regenerate.

Okay, the last episode was ...meh. I liked it, Amy made an awesome pirate and I liked the Amy and Rory bits. Especially when he saw the "Siren" and went a bit giggly (Arthur Darvill is actually amazing). Still wondering who the eyepatch lady is ... Also, someone on another RP found this:

Lucy is rumored to come back in the first half finale, so I heard of that one already; either that, or the girl is Lucy (Time Lord DNA splicing from the Master). I don't believe that one, personally.
I didn't care for the plot of this one, but I do like episodes like that where they're mostly running around in a smaller set.

Just found the Comic Relief episodes on youtube. Part 1, Part 2. And the moral of this story is that panty shots are dangerous things ... Anyway, the next episode looks cool. We get the Ood again but they're possessed by a green ... thingy.

"The House" I believe the enemy/green light is called. Also, apparently the being in the preview who said "Fear me; I've killed hundreds of Time Lords"

And the Doctor's reply to this you ask? "Yeah, well I've killed them all,"
Hey, did anyone recognise Auntie from somewhere? *coughs and points at signature*. But yeah, I loved that episode, the concept of the house, the fact it was written by Neil Gaiman (Coraline). I loved the house as a villain and I loved the interactions between "Sexy" and the The Doctor, especially at the end when they set off somewhere and the Doc is dancing around the console.
It was a nice episode, very fun (TARDIS and Doctor go off on an adventure), very sweet ("Hello Doctor, it's nice to meet you"), very exciting (Flying a TARDIS console through the rift out of a sub-universe and into 9's control room).
