Kouta was in the park, in a secluded clearing, practicing with his quarterstaff against a tree. He whacked at it repeatedly, wishing for an opponent. Since it was the day, his dad was at work, so he contented with sparring in the park. After about a half hour, a thin sheet of sweat on his brow, Kouta walked out of the forest to see some crazy sh*t happening, which he had apparently missed out on. The first sign of something being wrong was the person slumped on a bench nearby. He could see straight through the person. He pulled out his Leangle Buckle and slotted in the Change Spider card, allowing the cards to wrap around his waist and form his belt. He concealed the belt with his jacket and walked out, wary of something present.

Why Katsu? Because of Rise's control, and the Undead's, creating that similarity? Just wondering.
Katsu was sketching in the park, but she had arrived after it had ended and hadn't been in the area to notice. Rise was unmoving within her, not doing anything, though she sensed it.

(You said that they had similar situations in the plot thread, and I thought it would be a cool idea.) Kouta walked through the park, quarterstaff in hand, though it wasn't extended, curious as to what could make a man see-through like that. He continued to wander, unaware that the monster in question was watching him from the trees.

I had forgotten. Ok, yeah, makes sense.
There. The pounding started, and she shook her head furiously, "No...please don't...," she whispered with fear as the Arc of Kaitos appeared at her waist, "No..."
