Appearance: blue eyes, short dark brown/black hair, wears a denim jacket with the sleeves cut off at the elbow and thinks of it as his "trademark"
Nationality: Born American, grew up under the guidance of his grandfather in Futo, Japan, but left for the United States after he graduated high school. He returned to Futo after hearing about the rise in GaiaMemory-related crimes.
Occupation: Used to work for a friend of his at a local restaurant as a busboy, but he left work whenever the news reported a Dopant attack.
Personality: Torema's dependable, though not very bright and can get pretty full of himself at times. He thinks the city deserves better than power-hungry GaiaMemory addicts running around thinking they can do whatever they want, and therefore he fights to keep the city "pure" and away from the "taint" that is the Dopant. He's not really much of a hard worker, mainly because he thinks he is more management material than busboy.
Ever since he was a kid, he thought of the Kamen Rider's as defenders of peace and light, and has always wanted nothing more than to one day fight alongside them. Thinks of Futo as a city of human ingenuity and progress, and wishes to do everything in his power to keep it that way. He can get confused at times but that doesn't change the fact that he is a determined warrior.
Known Acquaintances:
- Kenji, his best friend, who often has his intelligence compared to an animal, insect or item. He's the first person to find out that Torema is Machina, and thinks of himself as Torema's sidekick. Torema gave him the Cyber GaiaMemory and built him a Drive Belt, allowing Kenji to transform into Kamen Rider Cyber

J Drill Kick- a powerful move that is also used to break through obstacles in Torema's path
Form Name: Jumbo Formation- Appearance: Same as J's normal form, but as tall as a skyscraper

Other Equipment- J-Crosser, a motorcycle that transforms as Torema transforms, is the same Honda VT Shadow Sabre that the Machina runner transformed into
Personal History: Torema never even had the chance to meet his parents. His mother died during childbirth, and his father died in a drunken brawl days later. He was raised by his grandfather, who wanted to make sure Torema became a good man, like his father. During his high school years he was branded a "dweeb" because he was a fan of the Kamen Rider's, and from that, many people made fun of him. That's the reason he left Futo after graduation, he didn't want to be around when people from his high school told stories about how he was what they called a nerd. He spent a couple of months in America before "acquiring" (and when we say acquiring here we mean he purchased it from a suspicious dealer) a GaiaMemory, but he knew of the toxin distributed by the GaiaMemory when its used. He spent weeks trying to build a device to use the Memory with, but after he had reached a breakthrough, his Drive Belt was ready for use. His friend, Kenji, recommend Torema to the manager of a local restaurant, but gave him a less than desirable job. So far, he's been back in Futo for about a month, and his boss is already planning on firing him, all because of the fact that he's a Kamen Rider fanatic and runs out to see the fights between the Kamen Riders and Dopants, well, that's Torema's "official" story, at least. After months of fighting injustice as Machina, he encountered a man named Archimedes, who imbued him with the powers of J, the "vanguard of the Creators worlds".
