Dethroned [SHIELD]

*Far away, on the base of Yggdrasil*

"Loki Odinson. You have failed to deliver on your end of our bargain." A deep voice echoed inside Loki's head.

"No! If I can just have another chance, I will deliver it to you!" Loki pleaded.

"You promised us the possibility of extending the reach of the World Tree." another, higher voice said. "You have not."

"For this atrocity, we wipe you clean of your atrocities," the deep voice said again. "We take the power that was bound to Asgard," Loki felt a burning sensation, as the power that was Kamen Rider Chalice was drained from him. He felt weaker. "and we cast you out."

"No!" Loki shouted, but too late. He was sucked into a portal and sent through the winding bridge of the BiFrost. Where to? He had no idea.

He was lying in a strange circle of runes. Where was he? Who was he? He had no idea.

[Loki]

The being apparently called Loki was incredibly confused. "What are you...who's Loki? Who are you people? Who am I?"

[Loki]

"What?" Loki asked again, his voice raised. "Unhand me, now!"

[Loki]

"Please. I didn't mean to hurt anyone." the amnesiac pleaded, on the verge of tears now.

[Steve Rogers]

Steve was hanging back ready to strike if Loki tried anything but ... what he was saying.

Loki didn't really go for that sort of trick. He was supposed to be "Oh look at me! I'm splendiforous!" apparently.

[Loki]

The amnesiac immortal could only listen to what they were saying. Was he really a criminal? And immortal? But wasn't that impossible? He could only sit, dejected, in the container.

[Steve Rogers]

"... This doesn't seem like what you told me about him," The Captain replied, watching Loki carefully.
