"Since we first met, I've been drawn towards you," he told her, "Meeting you again made me truly realize that, and opened my heart more. You're a strong woman, a truly strong woman, and I like that. You're...I care about you, Raina. You're the only person I've met, outside of those I fight with now, whom I can truly care about."
It was hard to say, and he wasn't sure he had said it well, but it worked for him.

Raina trailed off for a moment, a tear coming to her eye. "I...." It wasn't a hard thing, he'd said it, after all. "I ... do care about you. A lot."

He moved over towards her, wiping the tear away gently with a finger. He put his other arm around her, holding her in a half embrace for now, just not saying anything.
He wasn't sure what he should say.

Raina embraced him fully, hugging him tightly, though not too tightly, burying her face in his shoulder....that would say all that needed to be said for a short time.
