"We were together, and she refused me in place of an undead mercenary. I tried to make her see reason, and she made him attack me and take my eyes. When we were going to work for an organization called Combat, she got the man to fight me, and the other psychics to try to kill me. I'm here to make sure she gets what's coming to her," he hissed.

She would have killed him, but she was sure he wouldn't last much longer anyway. She was still on the ground, covered in her own blood from spitting so much of it up, her body filled with pain, unable to actually pick herself up.
