"Bad move!" Leo shouted, throwing his hand out and grabbing her by the throat with a psychic grip, tearing her from his grip and dragging her across the ground towards him.

"Bad idea!" he launched more blades for Shotaro. It would soon be clear that she wouldn't last much longer, with how much blood she was losing.

Shotaro was hit with the blades, and let go... but instead of being knocked back, he charged forward at the man, taking out his Gaia Memory and inserting it into the Maximum Slot.

He didn't expect that. He threw up a psionic wall, his powers weakening, so it was actually visible this time. The Rider Punch would be stopped, but his wall would crack. His grip on Marilen was greatly weakened.

His wall shattered, so he threw up a weak blast to try to stop the fist. It didn't work, so he took a hit to the chest, falling back, but not falling to the ground yet.
