"Ryuu-san, this way!" Mirai yelled, beckoning.
"What the hell is so f*cking interesting tat you have to wake me up from my well-deserved nap and drag me out here?" Ryuu half said, half mumbled. He followed Mirai at a slow pace.
"Well, I guess we're far enough away. Ryuu-san, I sensed one of the Brothers." Mirai said.
Ryuu perked up, and said, "Another Ultra? Why didn't you say so?" and followed him at a greater speed.

A number of Space Beasts in normal size had surrounded the bearer of Light, and she had battled them in human form, before cladding herself in the armor of the Light, becoming Nexus and destroying each one with accurately placed crescent blasts.
Then, the larger Space Beast had landed in meteor like fashion...and as the two would get closer...a red orb of light shot up from the forest and landed in the clearing...resolving to Nexus' giant form. The figure was different from the Ultras Mirai would know...having subtle feminine features to the trained eye. Clenching a fist over the heart, Nexus returned it to her side, changing forms to Junis Red, the power form.

"I suppose this overrides the order." Mirai said as he summoned the Mebius Brace.
"I suppose it does." Ryuu said, pulling out the Knight Shooter and summoning the Knight Brace.
MEBIUS!
HIKARI!
Two beams of light, one white and one blue, shot up and resolved into Mebius and Hikari. Mebius charged, grabbing the kaiju and flinging it to the side, while Hikari summoned the Knight Blade, and stood ready.

Nexus looked between the two, recognizing them...though the Light in her had been out of contact with the other Ultras for some time. She nodded once, touching her right hand to her left arm and firing a crescent blast at the kaiju, which sent it shuffling backwards. Though its special ability was...that it could release highly toxic gas. And if it made a move to do so, Nexus would use her own ability...the Meta Field.

Mebius fired his own blast, sending the monster stumbling further.

"KAIJU!" Teppei yelled, as the others ran in.
"Where's Ryuu and Mir-" Konomi began, then she saw the video.
"Oh well. Marina, Konomi, Teppei, let's go." George said, and ran off to the jets. He was soon followed by the others, and Gun Phoenix launched about 15 minutes later, heading to the battle.

(Interesting use...the fights were a bit darker in Nexus, though)
Nexus had stood back, analyzing its pattern of attack, as the other two tag-teamed the monster. But....as the jets arrived...the kaiju began to emit the gas from his back, directly towards the two Ultras.

(We have Ventilation Volteccer, we're good.)
"Gun Phoenix, Split!" Marina announced as the jet split into Winger and Loader. Winger hovered near Mebius, while Loader moved in.
"Ventilation Volteccer!" George announced as he flipped the switch, changing into Maneuver Mode and activating the fans, blowing the gas away from the field of battle.
Mebius and Hikari took the chance, lifting the kaiju and tossing it toward Nexus.

Machines....previous users had seen such small craft constructed to try and aid them. But Nexus didn't hesitate now, hovering her hands over each other as golden lightning sparked between them, before stepping forward and intersecting her arms in an L, firing off the gold beam and finishing off the kaiju that way.

Mebius was reaching for his Brace, about to perform his beam finish, but stopped when he noticed Nexus had beaten him to it. He contacted Nexus telepathically, saying, "I would like to speak to you in human form." and undoing his transformation. Ryuu gestured to a spot where the jets could land, and undid his own transformation, moving to meet with them.

Nexus looked at him, but didn't reply right away...simply disappearing, as her way of undoing her transformation went. If one were observant enough, a figure would appear nearby the landing spot, leaning against a tree, wearing blue jeans, black boots, and a brown jacket left open to show a navy blue shirt that showed a little skin near the top. Her hair was down, long and flowing, and she crossed her arms, waiting to see what they wanted to talk to her about, when she'd rather continue on her path of traveling.

George climbed out, and met Ryuu yelling, saying, "You know the orders!"
"I think I can disregard the orders when there's another Ultra out there!" Ryuu yelled, pointing toward where the battle had taken place.
"I know, but you can't just brush off orders from HQ!" George yelled.
"ENOUGH!" Marina screamed, and the two stopped.

"Just commenting, and its what they do. Have you felt anything especially evil recently?" Mirai asked.

"I would smack you both if you weren't my superiors." Marina said. "You two always argue. It's ridiculous! Can't you two agree on something for once?"
The two hesitated, then both started talking loudly and rapidly. Marina then DID smack brig of them, upside the backs of their heads, which caused them to stop immediately.

"Nothing fitting what you've mentioned, but there is a dark shadow on this planet...I have had to fight in normal form more often than I'm used to, but I've gotten used to it." Rei said, stretching her arms a little.

"We need to find a way to allow you two boneheads to hash out your quarrels in way that won't make the rest of us deaf." Marina said.
"A shooting contest!" Ryuu said.
"A soccer match!" George said. The immediately began arguing again, and Marina sighed, facepalming.
