Don Dogoier stood in the crow's nest, wearing a green coat above his usual attire. It was currently snowing, and the city below was filled with lights, moreso than it usually was. From what Scott had told him, today was Christmas Eve. He had a pretty good idea about the holiday from what he read on the subject, but despite it being a rather festive day, Don was anything but.
Marvelous and Luka, as well as Joe and Ahim, went out together today, and the other Earthling crew members had went out to do some last-minute shopping, leaving Don alone on the ship. He sighed sadly. Despite all that's happened recently, he still felt like the weakest link of the crew. Everyone else had something to fight for, but Don's been spending most of his time in his lab, working on that new weapon. He really didn't have a reason for fighting the Zangyack, which made him feel even weaker.
Of course, little did Don know that tonight would be the night where that changed.

The gray dimensional portal shimmered, high above and to the left of the Galleon, and Yuri fell through it, immediately being blasted by cold air and snow as she fell towards the ground.

Don noticed something appear in the sky, and took out a spyglass to see what happened. His eyes widened when he saw someone falling from the sky. "EHHHHHHH?!" he shouted, before running down to the main room where the chest always sat.
"Hakase-san? What's the matter?" Navi asked, flying toward him.
"Someone... Outside... Falling..." Don said in between breaths, going for the chest and digging through it. "Need... Jetman..."
Navi screamed in panic before helping Don in looking for the key. After a few moments, the found Black Condor sitting near the very bottom of the chest. Don quickly grabbed it, and he ran back up to the crow's nest before standing on the edge of it. He took a deep breath before jumping off of the Galleon, and inserted his Key into the Mobirate. "GOKAI CHANGE!"
JEEEEEEETTOMAN!
Transforming into Black Condor, Don flew toward where the girl was falling.

Her eyes were closed, the Spirit had at least limited some of her body functions to the bare minimum...so she fell like dead weight, but had a better chance of surviving...

Don finally caught her, and flew back to the crow's nest of the Galleon, reversing his transformation. "Thank goodness..." he said before noticing that she wasn't wearing anything that could protect her from the cold, and that she wouldn't last long in her current condition if they stayed outside. So he rushed back down, heading straight for sick bay. "Navi! I need some help!" he shouted as he passed the mechanical bird.
"Aye aye, Hakase-san!" Navi said, flying after him.
After the two reached sickbay with the girl, Don put her down and put a cloth damp with warm water on her forehead, covering her up with the sheets. "There... she should warm up in a little bit..." he told Navi.
"How did she end up falling, anyway?" Navi asked, perching himself on Don's shoulder.
"I don't know... I just saw this strange phenomenon in the sky, and when I got a better look at it, I saw her falling..."

She rested peacefully in that condition, the heat starting to warm her up. In a few minutes...her eyes fluttered open softly...and the first thing she saw, was Don, though specifically his eyes.

Don smiled. "You're awake... That's good..." he said, looking into her eyes. She was actually quite beautiful... He probably didn't notice in all the chaos.
Navi noticed that, and chuckled. "Oho~..." he said, having an idea as to what Don was thinking.

"That's good." She gave. So this was the GokaiGalleon...she'd wanted to see it, but only knew of it from the Spirit. "What day is it?" she asked.
