An average day. Or as average as it can be at AGHS when you have super powers. Sen was unusually agitated, remembering how Takamichi said that he was offered a Zodiarts Switch again. Sen had told him it would have been smarter to just decline and run, but Takamichi insisted that he took the Switch and locked it in a box, so Sen could try to examine it. Of course, reverse-engineering wasn't exactly Sen's major, so he had to seek a little outside help from the only person he knew who could. His favorite teacher, Denji. So, Sen had left the box in his teacher's care over the weekend, and had arranged for a private "remedial lesson" after school, to see what could be done. Takamichi was supposed to meet Sen on the way there, but texted to say that he got stuck with a detention for an hour after class, so he'd be late. Sighing, Sen finally reached the door to his homeroom class, and swung it upon, bluntly speaking. "Oi, Denji. Got anything yet?"

"That's Denji-sensei to you. As for your Switch, I did find something. The only difference is one circuit, which causes the power to manifest differently." Denji replied, sitting back in his chair.

Sen scoffed, closing the door and setting his bag on one of the front desks. "Yeah, and my old man's waiting for me at home with bagels and sake." He sighed, his mind wandering off to thoughts of his father, before snapping back into attention. "Think with a little modification, Takamichi could use it to go Aquila, but without going crazy again?"

"Depends. I could redirect the circuit, but that could completely deactivate the Switch, or kill him. We have only one shot if we do this." Denji replied.

Sen chuckled, removing his right glove to show his wires. "I didn't ask if you could do it. I asked if it was possible."

"In that case, yes. It is possible."Denji replied.

"Wait. I don't want to begin until Takamichi gets here. He got detention in chem lab. Managed to blow up a mixture, singed off the teacher's eyebrows. I'm still surprised he only got an hour for that." Sen said, chuckling.

"Who was teaching?" Denji asked.

Sen sighed. "The new foreign guy, Mark. Not a bad guy, but sheesh, a temper to rival a woman on him." He chuckled, before slipping his glove back on and taking a seat.
((Takamichi's showing up in the next post. Maybe Denji pulled some strings~? Also, the fact that Sen actually takes the time to openly converse with him says alot, considering how Sen is.))

Denji picked up his phone and dialed the chem lab. After conversing with Mark for a little bit, he put the phone back and said, "Takamichi should be here shortly. Then we can get started."

Sen chuckled. "Heh, looks like having a teacher for a friend has it's benefits~ Judging by how Takamichi runs, I'd say we have maybe twenty more seconds before he shows up, discounting this." Of course, like clockwork, exactly twenty seconds later, the door burst open again, Takamichi literally falling in. Sen chuckled, just cracking a joke. "Yo, next time Mr. Mark says that calcium ignites EXPLOSIVELY in water, listen to him. He sounded pissed, y'know." Takamichi sighed, and retorted. "If he would've just said it blew up, I would've understood. But he just said it 'reacts violently'. How was I supposed to know?"

"It's a bit of a rule of thumb. If the teacher, especially the one teaching chem lab, tells you not to do something, it's usually not a good idea to do it." Denji said.

Sen sighed. "Well, now that you've decided to join us, I can begin. Denji, the Switch please." He said, taking off both gloves. Takamichi got up from the ground, taking a seat at the desk next to Sen.

Denji opened his top desk drawer, pulling out the Switch and walking up to Sen, handing him to Switch and standing next to him.

Sen took the Switch in hand, as his wires began to glow an intensely bright blue. Seeing this, Takamichi quickly popped his goggles over his eyes, just in case. The light swirled around Sen's hand, as the circuitry of the Switch was continuously altered, shifted, repositioned, disconnected, reconnected, and changed, until the Switch itself changed, colors shifting to a tan casing, and a blue button. Sen panted, nearly collapsing from exhaustion, before handing the Switch over Takamichi. "Here. It should...work fine...now." He panted after every other word. Takamichi replied "Cool, let's test it out next time a Zodiarts shows up."
