The scene opens to an empty street, just outside the restaurant. Torema and Kenji exit the building. "So let me see if I heard you correctly... you fought a Dopant that used the Shark Memory and defeated it easily? Don't you think it might have been a little too easy, like it was planned?" says Kenji, looking as if he's unraveling another one of his conspiracy theories "Kenji, will you just chill out for one second? There is no conspiracy going on. this guy obviously didn't know how to use a GaiaMemory, and that cost him." They take their usual route, through the alley beside the restaurant. "No Dopant is that weak, dude. you better watch your back, they're probably out to get you." "They're probably out to get Machina, not me. We're safe from any ambushes." Two thugs appear as if out of nowhere. "Unless that happens." One of the thugs grabs Kenji by his shirt collar. Kenji, completely frightened, hands over his wallet and phone. "You too, kid, unless you want to end up in the hospital." "No, I'm not afraid of you. In fact, its guys like you thats ruining this city. I don't care how tough you are, or if you have a gun, either you get out of Futo, or I'll break your ----ing legs!" The thugs drop Kenji and step towards Torema in a threatening manner. "Better think carefully about your next move, kid. It might be your last." At that moment, Torema sucker punched one of the thugs and attempted to help Kenji stand, but was tackled by the other thug. "Not so tough now, are you, punk?" Kenji just stands behind the thug in fear. "Kenji, run! I'll hold him off." Torema then kicks the thug off of him and Kenji begins to sprint back to the restaurant. The thug pulls out a knife, causing Torema to jump back a couple feet in shock. Dammit, what am I gonna do? I think I'm starting to freak out, but I gotta keep him away from Kenji, and I can't turn into Machina!
