Kaoru started to walk, but was getting pushed around by the various people moving around, and she began to scream.

Jasmine reached over and pulled Kaoru out of the line of people. "Come." she said, holding Kaoru's hand and projecting a little something forward called confidence. People voluntarily moved to the side enough to pass, eyes only on her as she walked by, and then the "spell" was broken when Jasmine and Kaoru were through. Then they made their way to the elevator.
