Youko opened the pouch on the side of her belt, pulling Zero One out and opening him to use as a phone.
"Why did you bring me?"
"Because I didn't want to leave you alone," she answered.
"I don't care about being alone."
"Well, I imagine it's lonely alone, even for you," she told Zero One, "Would you have left?"
"Possibly. I might have found something to do."
"I hope I didn't interrupt, then," she said.
"...no. You didn't."
She smiled, "Oh, then do you enjoy this?"
He didn't answer. He shut himself instead.

Zero One opened again, "Oh..."
"What is it?" she asked.
"Something interesting from my people," he answered, "Set me down."
She did so, setting him on a bench's arm. He unfolded into his walking form and looked at her, "You should go and leave me."
She shook her head, "No, I don't think so, Zero One. Not this time."
He just looked at her before jumping onto the ground and walking off. She followed.

Youko hurried past them, "You should be careful," she whispered down to Zero One.
He ignored her.

Zero One kept going.

"I really don't know what you're talking about, I'm sorry," she apologized. She hoped Zero One was gone by now, and far enough away to not be an issue.

Zero One had moved a decent ways away and had gotten to a better vantage point. He looked back to see her, and jumped down, heading back. He had to help her.

Zero One walked past Edgeworth, a few feet away, but passing by a tree to at least partially obscure himself.
