Kiriha kept looking around, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen.
It was behind them. Watching them, but unable to be detected or sensed other than by vision. It made no moves as they left it.

He entered the Liner and started walking, using one hand to grab his chest as it hurt again. The thing was on the Liner, somewhere, but vanished as soon as it came. He dropped his hand, shouting out and demanding everyone's presence.

As the others entered - minus Marilen, who had left them for her own reasons for now -, Kiriha spoke, shaking his head, "This group, this is what I set out to create, to destroy Shocker. And that's done. Vector is in a much different league, however. And...the more I look at what we've become...the more I feel I betrayed my goals."
He looked at Jerome, "You're my second in command, since we think alike," he had always hoped Kiba wouldn't mind that, it was a tactical reason he chose Jerome to replace Kiba, "Do you know what I'm going to say?"
"No," Jerome said.
"I'm splitting us!" he announced, "I am who I am. And this Army is my extension. This...as it is now, is not! It's changed into something else; something it was never supposed to be. It's moved away from my intentions, and may have grown stronger, but I want my military unit back." He clenched his fists, "I'm getting rid of a handful of you, for the sake of my ultimate goals. For the sake of what this unit is supposed to be."
