It was nice actually. Bridge got two weeks off of work to just sit back and relax. He yawned and stretched out on the deck chair he was sitting on.
He had a red shirt, open at the top, three quarter length shorts and a pair of trainers under the chair. By his side was a book, his SP License and a plate full of buttery toast.
He sighed, it was very warm here. Maybe he should take a little nap in the nice warm sun that was slowly disappearing as the giant alien craft descended over head.
He paused, whipped off his sunglasses and looked up.
"... Oh come on!"
Wonderful, the Zangyack were ruining his holiday ...

Allelujah running from his own vacation, finding a private spot and flipping out his phone to send the message, only to find he didn't need to, as the pod was waiting for him.
"Damn, Sumeragi's good." Allelujah remarked as he stepped in, the suit equipped onto him and he stepped out, snapping the wings open and flying to the top of a nearby building.

The dimensional portal opened, one time only and a new face stepped out nearby. She had come to this world once before, to aid her team, but she wouldn't leave the transport dimension without her ship. Nearby, a similar portal activated, placing her ship in a hidden area, stealth system activated.
Looking ahead, the new comer saw a foe she was familiar with, based on the accounts of her team. The Zangyack. Wordlessly, she strode forward, intending to join the fight...,being in her leather uniform and harness after all, despite her misgivings...
[FLASHBACK]
"Raina, come and see this." Takeda had said, showing her the tricks and trinkets of the new system found aboard this ship. And she had, in fairness, come in. "Are those shorts?" Raina had queried, though Takeda lazily holding them up revealed them to be so. "What's this supposed to be?" "Why, your uniform of course." "Uniform? I object." she had said. "Why? It's not going to kill you to show a little skin..." "Hey, you know what happened to me..."
Takeda threw up his hands defensively. "I know, I remember. But you're going to have to get over it sometime...why not get a head start?" he gave truthfully, not in his usual womanizing way as he had turned around and left.
[PRESENT]
She kept walking forward, waiting for the ground attack...

Bridge watched as dozens of Zangyack ships started zipping about the skyline dropping Gormin down to the surface. Fine, kill the aliens, fill the paperwork then do the repor-
Wait ... wait that was weird. Another aura just appeared in his field of view, he looked down to see a woman in leather walking forward. Similar to his own aura, not the same colour but the same sort of border, silky ... was she an ESPer too?
Bridge didn't have time to consider because Mobile Suit Kyrios landed next to him. Startled, he squawked and fell backwards ...
... Off the building and straight towards the ground.

She started to run forward when something tugged at the edge of her conscience. Raina turned to see a man falling, and she hesitated one moment before remembering what she'd agreed to with her team....the humans in this world weren't bad....they were free.
So, Raina started forward towards where she thought the trajectory of the fall would take him, and hit the button on the Cross Brace. "It's my turn to fly." she said, the silver leather appearing on her form as she extended her wings, taking flight and holding her wrist up in front of her face, snapping on the helmet and faceguard after flipping the little switch. As Silver Eagle, she was on track to catch the falling man.

Allelujah didn't notice Bridge and fired off into the sky, pulling out his beam sabre and dashing, slicing a ship in half and killing all the Gormin inside. He opened fire on another with his SMG, killing the pilot and causing the ship to crash in the ocean, killing more Gormin.

Bridge looked down ... up? It was hard to tell, his head was spinning. But someone had caught him good. Great.
"Hi!" He said "... Thanks!"

Meanwhile the Action Commander facing down Harlock chuckled a little.
"GokaiMaster, well this is an honour," He took a step back and drew his own sword, a long twisted piece of segmented metal that looked similar to his own tail.
"What do you say we settle this like gentlemen?"

Something was heading after Kyrios, another Action Commander, this one clad head to toe in shiny silver armour dotted with blue orbs and lights reflecting off of his suit, on his back were two wings trailing purple energy from their tips as he flew towards his target, activated his wrist blades and engaged Allelujah ...

The jets fired, as Silver Eagle touched down on the ground. "Try to be more careful." The heroine admonished, before turning away, running forward towards the Zangyack, pressing the device on her right shoulder.
"Transport."
She held her arm in front of her, grasping the Silver Buster that came from her ship, and fired into the Goumin ahead.

Allelujah barrel-rolled to the left and pulled a loop, getting behind the Action Commander and opened fire with his SMG.

Crap! It was still up on the roof! He ran towards the door and hurried inside. Ah! Lift was out, and everyone was rushing down the stairs! Dammit!

The commander lashed forward with his sword.

The bullets panged off of the commander's armour as he dove towards the ground, the energy trails either side of Allelujah.

Two Goumin went down, followed by a couple of elegant kicks that put two more down. She turned her back to the others, pressing the button again.
"Transport."
The Silver Edge materialized at her right ankle, and she bent down, grabbing it and slashing three more that got too close.

Another figure was airborne...dodging the ship battle as she headed for the roof. Red Hawk, transformed, had received the signal transmitted by the Cross Brace, and was the first of her teammates to respond. She'd land on the roof...and look around to see no one...before noticing an object on the ground. Picking it up, the battle was momentarily lost on her. "S..P...D..." she drew out...Takeda had informed them all of the information he found about police in the world, that organization was one of them.
If an SPD member was here, it could either be really good or really bad for them...

Bridge had just started climbing the stairs. Falling had been so much quicker. He was only halfway up, best to keep running ...

Kari heard a lot of people on the stairs, and she approached the top, looking down. "Did someone lose something?" She called down, though immediately she stepped away from the top and back onto the roof, feeling that had been weird.

"Not supposed to happen." Allelujah remarked as he calculated out another course of action, and holstered his SMG, pulling his sword out and gunning it, charging forward and slashing.

That had been weird.
Bridge looked up.
"Um ... yeah, it's like a big-ish ... it's like a phone, got little lights on the top and "S.P.D" on it in big letters!" He replied.

There was something odd about the energy streams. They weren't moving they were just staying where they in mid-air. And now there was a cocoon around the two airborne fighters. A bright purple bubble of energy.
The commander laughed as he smashed his sword against Allelujah's.
"Welcome to my death trap "Hero", Spiral Shell, how long do you think you can survive before your suit runs out of energy?"
He pushed off against Allelujah and started soaring around the bubble, the energy trail had stopped now.
