Building Under Seige [Open]

[Dylan Carson]

"We need to save the people!" Dylan yelled as he began going down the stairs again, taking them three at a time.

[Thoma Hirako]

"The bombs were in their room," Fifth said.

"Too late!" Thoma screamed after Dylan.

[Dylan Carson]

Dylan stopped, and looked back up at Thoma and asked, "Why?"

[Thoma Hirako]

"The bombs...they were in the room with the hostages!" Thoma shouted at him in his anger, "They're dead! And...and I caused it!"

[Dylan Carson]

Dylan's expression dropped like a rock. "Oh god.... Well, this is the kind of thing you wouldn't have been able to predict anyway. I mean, how would you know that breaking the code would trigger the bombs? How could you have known there were bombs in the first place?" Dylan asked.

[Thoma Hirako]

"If we hadn't rushed, we could have figured it out," Thoma said, "Right, Fifth?"

"That is correct. But neither of us thought to dig that deep."

"And now they're dead because of it...," Thoma muttered.

Dylan had no idea what to think about what had just happened. He wanted to console Thoma, and arrest him for manslaughter at the same time. He paused, unsure of what to do.

"Fifth," he held his hand out. The Braver leapt up, into compact mode into his hand. He put him on his belt, "We're going," he told Dylan. If he was going to do anything, it would have to be now.
