"Come on. . ." Garret whispered to himself, looking out at the people walking by the store. No one had come in all day, and he was bored.
"I don't think they can hear you." Sarah said sarcasticly, lowering her book.
Garret glared at her, and she put it back up. It wouldn't be so bad if there was something for him to do, but the whole day had been completely boring. Please let something happen, for the sake of my sanity.

Drake wandered into the book shop, and started browsing. He had heard about this store, that it had some pretty interesting books, so he decided to check it out. He browsed, just sort of wandering.

"Finally." Garret said, perhaps a little too loudly. Meanwhile, Sarah sighed, put down her book and walked up to the man who had called for someone.
"Can I help you?" She said kindly, trying to mask the fact that she was annoyed at this guy for interrupted her reading.

Drake's head cocked in the general direction of Rupert, and a single eyebrow raised, specifically the left one. He continued browsing, but listened to the conversation intently.

Sarah nodded, she had sensed he had magic when he walked in. "My boss keeps all of our books on that subject in the back room." She said, gesturing first to Garret, who was listening intently, and then to the wooden door that was kept locked unless they were bringing someone in to browse. "I'd be happy to take you back there if you like."

Drake shuffled closer, and a Japanese man walked in, staring at his phone as he did. Suzuki had felt a familiar presence, but never expected it to be this guy. He remembered the fiasco in the valley, and immediately put his guard up.

"Follow me then." Sarah said, leading him to the door. Just before she was about to open it, Garret intervened. "Sarah, why don't you take care of the register, I'll take him back." He said. He had sensed something. . . off about this guy since he had walked in, and didn't want Sarah to be alone with him.
Sarah was oblivious to this fact however, so she shrugged and and said, "Whatever you say boss", and took her seat behind the counter.
(I have to go, sorry.)

Garret nodded, curious about these two but not wanting to pry, and placed his finger on the doors keyhole. There was an audible click as the door unlocked. Garret opened it and gestured inside. "After you." He said, hoping letting them go inside wouldn't be a mistake.

"Yes." Garret said, following him into the room and turning on the lights. He pointed to a row of bookshelves containing extremely old looking books. "Those are all of the books that we have for sale. Anything specific your looking for?" He said, hoping to get the guy out of here as quickly as possible.

"That thing those guys in the valley were looking for?" Suzuki asked as he walked into the room.

"The Ark. . ." Garret said to himself. He read something about it once, but couldn't really remember anything other than that it was an exceptionally powerful dark mark magical object. "I have a book on magical artifacts, but I generally get rid of anything dealing with dark magic." He said, then pulled the book out of one of the shelves and bringing it back to the man. "Sorry if it's not in there."

Drake had lost track of the conversation when they went into the back, but Kurokami was watching from a mirror inside the room. Drake didn;t like that big guy that went into the back. the Japanese guy, he couldn't care less about. Suzuki read over Rupert's shoulder.

"I'm still relatively new to the community, so I don't know as much." Suzuki said as he stepped away from Rupert.

"Just because I don't sell books on dark magic doesn't mean I don't know it." Garret said. "The book is 20 pounds. Out of curiosity, why would you be looking for information on the Ark?" He asked,

"There was an, eh, incident, a few days ago. Some dark magicians were searching for it as well." Suzuki said. Drake was still browsing, not actually looking at anything, as he wanted to keep an eye on the conversation inside.
