Overview: Garret is a very kind person, especially to his friends. He sees magic as a gift, and something that shouldn't be used for things that can easily be done without.

Type Of Hero: Kamen rider
Henshin Device: A belt with a magic circle carved into the buckle, which has a star in the middle and a symbol for each of the four basic elements above, below, and to the left and right of it.
Henshin Sequence: He begins by reciting an incantation, which makes the belt appear on his waist, then he touches the star in the center of the circle to make it appear underneath him. The circle engulfs him in light which forms his armor.
Forms: Mage, Magician, Sorcerer, Warlock, Alchemist, and Master. (Italicized forms have yet to be accessed.)

- Arcanus's book- The book Arcanus is sealed in. Garret always takes it with him when he has to leave London.
History
Garret was born to two fairly powerful mages in London, and they were thrilled to see that Garret had a proficiency for magic as well. When they deemed him old enough, they started training him, although they tried to steer him away from fire magic after an incident when he was ten, hence the burn on his arm. They also taught him that magic shouldn't be used for everything, and that people who think that it should are asking for trouble. He still believes this to this day.
He also developed his love of books through his parents, which wasn't very hard considering that they owned a book store. When he was 9, both his parents passed away in a freak accident, so he took over the store . At first, he tried to run it on his own, which quickly proved impossible. So he decided to hire Sarah, a regular in the store and a mage, so she could handle any spell books that Garret brought in to sell. His life was really going well.
That is, until he brought a sealed book into the store. He could sense a lot of magic, and although the man who sold it to him had said to never break the seal, under any circumstances, the curiosity got the best of him and Sarah, so they opened it. It immediatly turned uot to be a mistake, because sealed within the book were the Inanima, a race of spirit beings who had terrorized the world over 800 years ago. Thankfully, the being who sealed them, Arcanus, was also in the book. Arcanus told garret that it would take a lot of time to find a way to reseal the Inanima, so he gave the last of his power to him, so that he could protect humans from the creatures until they could be stopped.

Garret was sitting at the register, reading a book he had "borrowed" from one of the shelves in the store, when he heard a very familiar voice.
I'm sensing a Inanima on the move. Rang Arcanus's voice, calm as ever. It's not far.
"Got it." Garret said out loud, getting up. "Sarah, watch the store."
He ran out the door, already saying the spell to summon the belt. It wasn't long before he saw it, a humanoid bear-like creature wearing midievil armor, looking for a human to kill. It noticed Garret running up and looked at him with that horrific grin.
"Sorry, but I'm not on the menu." Garret said, pressing his finger to the star on his belt, and feeling the familiar rush of power as the light covered him.
